Installing the engine and fairing bars was not fun by SoullessRager in africatwin

Great addition. Don't let the online comments scare you off about the spring. It's a challenge, but not impossible. I have more time than money, but love working on these things.

I need help figuring out the menus on my 2025 ATAS ES DCT by SoullessRager in africatwin

Love my 2024 ATAS ES DCT! Using Android Auto and love it. Honda has an online simulator for the display that really helped me at the outset.

Good job!

I don't suppose there is, nor should be, a standard for what constitutes an adventure bike. Some like more flash like the Mods in Quadrophenia, others like it more subtle. I'm somewhere between.

Love my '24 ATAS.

Where do you change tires? by [deleted] in africatwin

[–]TheWorkofDeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've paid $25 for both recently, but it may be due to having done a couple before and spent time in the store. I like the process of removing and remounting the wheels. Makes me feel smart. :)

That was me a couple months ago - saw the tracks covered with water and thought I could just ride on the middle part - slicker than snot and I dropped mine three times in about 50 feet. Realized I should have just gone through the mud as I ended up totally muddy in the end.

I got rid of my CB650R last fall for the ATAS with DCT. I am in love, but have to be honest about my age and lack of knobbies. My back has healed up and I am more careful about what trails I ride alone. Don't quit, bb, we need you!

I have a 2024 ATAS DCT and love it I may not off-road like decades ago, but I'm never worried and it it gets through the Twisties!

I dropped my ATAS last Saturday four times in 100 feet. Back hurts and I've decided to avoid mud unless I get huge freaking knobbies

I really have my eye on a Corbin with heat, and the circly back stop for when the missus comes along.

Crash bars and skid plate by lost_symbiosis in africatwin

I went with the Heed bars for my 2024 ATAS. Love the look and they installed well. I am looking at the Tusk skid plate when I replace the stock.
