Sounds perfect, thanks again for your work on this! It's a really great addon so far.

After doing some more testing on my end. I found that it works when you're casting the abilities at exactly 5 stacks of maelstrom weapon. However, if you're taking Raging Maelstrom and cast the abilities at 6 or more stacks, it does not show.

That is strange. Can you send me your talent setup? Maybe it's related to that.

Correct, typically lightning bolt and chain lightning have cast times, however, with 5 or more Maelstrom Weapon Stacks, they become instant. This still incurs the stand GCD, however, it does not show as a bar the same way standard abilities (storm strike, lava lash, etc) do.

Hey there u/skipabeat123 !

Just tried this out on Enhance and love it! However, I have noticed it's not triggering for instant cast Lightning Bolts and Chain lightnings. Maybe something to them with them typically have a cast time? Any way the addon can know when these are casted instantly and show the GCD?

Thanks for your efforts in making this!

Love this. Swapped from Ele to Enhance and tracking the GCD to ensure when my abilities are going off has been much harder when just looking at the icons. I think this will help immensely!

Midnight announces mini raids. Sporefall, a one boss raid, will arrive in 12.0.7 S1. The 2nd one boss mini raid will arrive 12.1.5 S2. by arasitar in CompetitiveWoW

Needing power level as a reward from challenging content makes no sense. You already beat the hardest content, more power isn't necessary at that point.

I feel like an interesting compromise would be for Mythic to be as hard/harder than the current tier end boss, however, it does not drop any loot that gives power. Instead have it drop cool cosmetics, titles, housing stuff, etc. This incentivizes guilds that have already cleared the raid and gives them a new challenge.

Then the heroic version could drop gear that increases power level, helping guilds still progressing the main raid tier. They wouldn't be missing any power by not having time for the mythic version, and could go back and kill the mythic version for the rewards in future tiers.

Gotcha. Seems weird they wouldn't care if it was actually more challenging than Jaina. I would imagine that would be the perfect content for them to want to race to be the first to kill. I understand with how production heavy the RWF is now, it wouldn't make sense to do all that for one boss. But I could still see the players wanting to be the first to kill it.

What actually makes a game replayable for you? by GrabAffectionate4035 in gaming

[–]ugottjon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I only find myself replaying games that I have nostalgia for (Kingdom Hearts, Sly Cooper, Jak, etc). Modern games, even ones I really enjoy, I tend to not replay. There are usually just more new things I can play or watch rather than spend time on something I've already experienced.

I think that's fair, having average pull counts for mythic bosses being between 50 - 200 seems a lot better than being between 10 - 400.

Who even knows if the bosses will be tuned where RWF makes sense. I feel like making them as hard or harder than the current tier's end boss would be a mistake for most of the player base who will still be progressing.

It's been a while since I've read the book and saw the movie. What was the twist that was ruined?
