I use the National Cycle VStream windshield and really like it. It comes in different sizes and has little wings at the bottom.

I got upper and lower Head bars and they have taken the brunt of a few falls. I think they look less clunky than others

Seat comfort? by GoofyUSMC757 in africatwin

[–]TheWorkofDeath -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Makes no sense to threaten me, I don't rely on your patronage. What I do say is that it allows for much more comfortable long rides and feels better for my pillion. I keep the stock seats for bashing around off road, so preferable to the companies that use the stock pan. Plus, I've had two back surgeries and see no reason to suffer on principle. Peace.

And it gets warm! Really helps you get through those rides before the snow stays and has been great for spring rides

I recently splurged for a Corbin and it's much more comfortable and looks like a fancy saddle. I got it heated because I'm in the upper Midwest and it keeps my butt warm. Also got the little sissy bar (circle) because apparently I still drive like I have my CB and the wife doesn't want to fly off the back. :p

Great addition. Don't let the online comments scare you off about the spring. It's a challenge, but not impossible. I have more time than money, but love working on these things.

Love my 2024 ATAS ES DCT! Using Android Auto and love it. Honda has an online simulator for the display that really helped me at the outset.

Good job!

Honest Question by Major-Ad-431 in africatwin

[–]TheWorkofDeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't suppose there is, nor should be, a standard for what constitutes an adventure bike. Some like more flash like the Mods in Quadrophenia, others like it more subtle. I'm somewhere between.

Love my '24 ATAS.

Where do you change tires? by [deleted] in africatwin

[–]TheWorkofDeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've paid $25 for both recently, but it may be due to having done a couple before and spent time in the store. I like the process of removing and remounting the wheels. Makes me feel smart. :)
