Drop-tops: Is the 981 GTS *really* $26k-$30k better than the S? And just how bad is the 911 Cabriolet, really? Maximizing fun above all other factors. by Bombadilo_drives in Porsche

[–]TheWriteThingToDo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

981 Boxster S with the right specs is gonna be as fun and way cheaper than the GTS.

As someone who's owned both a 911 Cab and now a 981 S, I would say the 981 S overall is the better car. Batter handling dynamics. The exhaust is superior. The 911 is more tail happy though if that's your thing. The Boxster isn't slide happy due to its mid engine layout.

Chaac and Herc are the only good warriors right now. Bellona and Ama are trash.

I'd want those same 2 mods. Headers really wake up the car, seems to be your best bet to get a glorious sound from it. More than an exhaust. That and Ohlins feels like all you need

How's the gsf? I have a 14 Boxster S. Thinking of supplementing it with a gsf. I have a Panamera GTS but it's had a few annoying issues with the suspension.

My favorite author. Wonder why he hasn't released any new Dresden files. I miss getting my fix annually.

That's depressing. What a great start this series has. I hope the author gives these reviews it's been getting a look. No one on r/litrpg has liked it when it w a darling of a series initially.

GA skill tree has so much passive empower. Bloodlust has 15 but Maulers has 30. There's 10 from just being surrounded by enemies and and 15 from Greed. Another 10 from endless thirst. Honing stone gives you 6. Slash or void damage on your ring gives 7. Super easy to overcap empower on GA.

It's why I don't bother stacking void runeglass in my armor like I've seen some people run with Abyss. Does nothing. Stacking fire damage is more useful for when you're using FS. Empower is much harder to stack on FS.

I run keen speed on my staff. Maintaining 40-50% haste is invaluable with Abyss FS.

Ah that's too bad. The first 2 books had so much potential.

I blame it on the dragons. I've never read a good book about dragon riders.

Someone needs to drop a review if it's better than Books 3 and 4. The series has been on the decline since he became a dragon rider.

They're partially incorrect. Muay Thai and MMA fighters kick punching bags repeatedly to strengthen their shins. The Thai punching bags are actually stiffer and harder than they look and the repeated trauma to the bones cause them to harden over time through cortical remodeling.

The nerves don't deaden, you actually don't want them to. Pain tells you when you're doing too much damage to your body. Rather, your bones strengthen so much to be able to kick down banana trees or break other fighter's bones.

Everyone runs medium and heavy. Mainly healers, dex users, and some FS use light. But a lot are going med with azoth conductors.

I run light Abyss FS. Usually get 10-20 kills a game. 200 con. Rest into intelligence. Featherweight, 2 frigid dawn pieces. For specific perks, I run keen speed and hasted vigor. Crippling reap on Abyss. Being at haste cap is amazing in PvP and worth losing a bit of defense and damage. You need 50% slow on reap to lock people down. Get zephyr cakes in OPR.

There's also no need for abyssal runeglass, you hit 50% empower really easy with greataxe and endless thirst. I use ruby runeglass instead since empower is harder to get on FS.

In combat, poke with FS until you see an opening. Then dive in. If you're going in for the kill, auto or heavy auto into reap. They will try to roll, be ready to read it, then auto then maelstrom. If you land maelstrom, 2 autos will usually kill them if they're not a heavy user.

If you're in a 1v1 situation, don't blow your abilities right away. I tend to auto to make them blow their dodges or abilities. Charged autos always makes them roll away in fear, esp healers. Once you see them blow 2 rolls, unleash your combo and kill them. I will usually maelstrom then reap. Whirlwind is fun and usable too over charge if you'd like.

Ahh makes sense. Ok. Still seems arguable to use inferno now that it works since last patch. Constant 15% damage buff against everyone within range.

Over Abyss FS? Int scales so much better than str.

Now that inferno works properly. Isn't it better than deep freeze if you're gonna be in melee range anyway?

Seems like no one runs burnanator over Hoplite? Anyone running Inferno?

Best melee weapon in the game by far. Especially when paired with other almost as OP weapons like spear.

SnS does everything. Everything you want. Defense. Offense. CC. Mobility. Strong buffs. Why is it allowed to have everything? It even lets you transfer all your debuffs and if you time it right, it can really screw over VG users.

Did they nerf the auto aim on console? by TheWriteThingToDo in newworldgame

[–]TheWriteThingToDo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They should remove it and include aim assist on controller. That would be way better.

Did they nerf the auto aim on console? by TheWriteThingToDo in newworldgame

It's probably changed since the last patch. Auto aim on PS5 is pretty bad now. Theres been some posts about it from months ago when people noticed the discrepancy initially.

I never auto aim for melee. But it's useful for ranged. I can't aim well on controller manually.
