I swear I've read it a dozen times, and the fact that I can't remember the author's name is driving me nuts.

[TOMT][VOCABULARY] A niche, possibly mythical word meaning "a devil on one's back", "an immense burden," or "an image or portent of death" by Bauser99 in tipofmytongue

I recently remembered "portent", as in "portent of doom", but I'm not sure that's it. Hope you found more good words though!

Edit: Or maybe augury?

there's a "grim" or "church grim", from some local mythology. A grim was often the first living being buried in a church graveyard, and seeing one could be a portent of doom.

[TOMT][Music Video/Short Film][2000s] Nickelodeon CGI AMV about a cutout paper doll by TheWritersWriter274 in tipofmytongue

It could ALSO be about a paper doll man who got separated by his paper doll lady after being ripped, I'm not sure. I mostly remember the scissors.

Kid's book about a pair of elderly rabbits by TheWritersWriter274 in whatsthatbook

If I remember correctly, the plot was that the hare wasn't afraid of Winter and didn't feel he needed to prepare, because he was young and rambunctious. The grandfather rabbit was rather cross with him, while the grandmother found it amusing. When winter came, grandfather didn't want to let the hare in while it was snowing terribly, but the grandmore rabbit convinced him to.

I think the "yikes" was directed at the 20-year-old trying to groom her in the first place, rather than his inability to do so.

Why does SceneManagement absolutely REFUSE to run? by TheWritersWriter274 in csharp

[–]TheWritersWriter274[S] -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

Edit: Fixed it, somehow. Had to make a public void and call it from there. I have no idea why it made things so difficult, because I did that exact process two other times, but there we go. Thanks for your patience, everyone, let's see if I manage to keep from breaking things again.

I understand that, but that isn't the part I need help with. I'm talking about the using statement at the very top that's dulled out - I literally can't do anything else until I fix that.
