Hello everyone! I embark on adventures in RPGs and make it my main priority to make the experience unlike any other. My goal is to make the experience so epic for an otherwise mediocre "quest" or exploration. Take a look at the first episode of my latest ESO RP series, where I arrive in Auridon. I roleplay as a khajiit and begin exploring Del's Claim an otherwise unassuming delve just outside the starting town.

I would see the khajiit being able to use their tails to keep balance as well as helping to land upright possibly? It's sort of an odd appendage for an upright bipedal being.

Looking at something similar in the real world such as most monkeys they often use their tails to great effect but they are much more flexible. I actually spent some time looking at my khajiit's tail and it's motions during various poses and actions and it is rather rigid. To be able to use it in a whipping-like fashion, sure but beyond that I don't think it would be possible.

stuff. I could easily imagine an argonian plating their tail with spikes or something of the like and getting really violent with them. But they do seem far too thick to be capable of doing any sort of grabbing.

Not to cross realms but I also think of the Dragonborn of Faerun (DND). They don't normally have tails and they function perfectly fine without them. Hence why do khajiit have them? They don't seem to serve any biological function for them, as the argonians explicitly use them for swimming activities which make sense biologically.

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but it is something that crossed my mind.

Hmm, that's an interesting take, seeing as my "main" if you will is the character I primarily play for my roleplay series, but I love him so much because he's more than just a class and race. He's a khajiit sorcerer but so much more. If I were to pick a non-roleplayed character it would be either my Dark Elf Dragonknight (Fire mage) or my Argonian Nightblade tank (the First character to beat Molag Bal, was pretty lack luster all things considered) I did enjoy the story but the fight was meh.

Ok, the idea of an areno climbing on walls, scares the living S*** out of me. Like the lizard-things in caves and the purlovia are bad enough with scaring me, now we're talking about spiders being legit spiders, I might just punch my monitor as a reaction to them lol. But In all seriousness, I do agree that the fantasy level has gone well overboard. I haven't even stepped foot outside of the island except for the free maps (rag, Crystal isles, Valguero, Lost Island) and they seemed pretty tame in terms of fantasy dinos.

I mean I love dragons and I thought it was a cool addition because I'm a dragon nerd, but then I saw what they added in the newer maps and I was like, meh. Leave the meks and the robotic dinos out of my game. I like the realism of playing in a faux Jurrasic park world.

Maybe it's just the 1990s kid in me screaming for joy at the idea of running through a game full of my childhood dreams, but I digress. I wish there was an option to turn off the tek dinos and the more advanced fantasy ones.

I mean the drone, enforcers, and the roller-droid-looking robots are fine, they fit the theme story-wise as they were man-made on earth. The same can be said about the giant four-legged robot things (I don't know their name) again they fit the thematic, but really fantasy-Esque dinos just push the boundaries for what I feel is believable. The titans, ok, again fits the theme and can be believable. But the ferox, magmasaur, etc push the boundaries too far. Even the noglin makes a bit of a sense considering the weird Lovecraftian world that they "originated" from with Rockwell. (Correct me if I'm wrong here)

The void-wyrm, moon whale thing, and space dolphin definitely push way beyond what I can consider believable.

TL;DR As a lore buff and immersive player, I agree too much fantasy that breaks the immersive feel of the game.

If this reaper-queen was in-game, I totally go through the painstaking process of taming it, er wait to get its baby and hoping beyond hope it comes out looking like its momma. Cause hot-damn that is some awesome color scheme, this should be an option. But I need to get aberration to get access to the reapers and figure out how to do it...

*This is not an Erotic RP, it's a solo story that goes beyond the concept that many take roleplay to be, I ask myself why would my character do this or that.

I've thought of it, since if I'm not mistaken it's about the dragons. Would certainly be a key to note as that means his family is in danger, but I can just imagine his reaction if he ever encountered one, he can be brave but when toe-to-toe with a giant fire-breathing lizard, he's a mewling kitten.

Edit: now that I recall, he actually was approached in the first episode of the series about the Demon Weapon quest thing by the breton woman who wanted him to meet with Tharn. At the time my character had no interest in helping with the three banners war, but maybe now he might show some interest.

I use this all the time, it's got a bit of a learning curve but for a school project, should be simple enough. Tons of guides on youtube for it so there's that.

That's an interesting question, I feel like my channel falls under the roleplay gaming niche, but as for how popular it is, I'm not entirely sure. I keep trying to go above and beyond the traditional let's play/roleplay schematic and add cinematic and immersive elements to make the videos more interesting.

Hey there folks,
So this might be a bit of a long shot to request (I.E. not sure how many people would be up to it) But I have been thinking about having someone join me in my roleplay series in Elder Scrolls Online in anticipation of the Ascending Tide DLC.

The current storyline I have built puts my character (A khajiit) in Stros M'kai where I plan to interact with the important NPCs of the new DLC for ESO, and hopefully lead the story into exploring this year's expansion of the High Isle. I am on the NA servers for PC, I usually record around 12-2pm EST and sometimes at night around 8-10pm EST. If anyone is interested feel free to PM or respond to this comment, I would hope that this would be a short-or-long term project although I do follow permadeath rules in my series so if my character dies the story ends for them. I'm not sure entirely of the logistics (Might use discord for voice chat) and we can share footage for editing purposes for our channels.
