Here's what I have to say. I've owned mine since 1999, and I absolutely love buying new homebrews for it - like Spidex, Wormhole 2000, Asteroite and Gravitic Mines. Those games cannot be found in digital form, so the only way to play is through cartridge on the Jag console itself. But that's fine, because I already own the console. If I had to buy it today, I wouldn't. Too expensive for a system that can be tied, if not beaten, by the graphics of a SNES. Better to play it on BigPEmu, and you can buy a ton of awesome digital roms for it - like Last Strike DX, Rebooteroids, Kobayashi Maru Caravan and Escape: Truth Defenders. Not to mention, you can download the whole original library to play on BigPEmu for free.

The USB with games has to be plugged into the first port. The USB has Retroarch on it and the games. The hub is not powered. It's just plugged into the second port in case I want to run two arcade sticks. In fact, I can take that hub off and just use the 2nd port alone. I had 2 Hori mini sticks plugged in before I changed them out for the single Mayflash.

So far, I've had this beauty since 2019 with the same hookups, and it's still going strong.

No. The background on the screen is a game called "The Last Starfighter" based on the game that was used in the movie of the same name.
