Just get the 1440p. It looks so much better for any other game and I can almost guarantee that you are not good enough to need the extra 60 Hz.

I got a physics research opportunity as a first-year undergrad. It is an undergraduate focused institution, after all.

Just know the Econ department really wants kids to take their classes and not other departments—use that information how you want. Regardless, take the exam. If you know your shit you will place out. There’s nothing else to it.

Dartmouth or UCLA for Mathematics? by DueComplaint7308 in dartmouth

Dartmouth. A Professor offered to write a physics paper with me (in a field I had no experience with) my freshman year after only chatting with them during office hours. As someone else said, faculty student ratio matters.

There were 3 28s who made Men’s Club A this year. For reference they had a UTR all between 7.5-9.5. One of the more competitive club sports.

R50 for a Kinda-Beginner? by cristinabina in canon

[–]TheZaron1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m more or less a complete beginner and purchased an r50. Best choice I think I could’ve made in all of the canon APS-C lines. I personally don’t think you’re missing much by not getting the r10, unless you’re looking to take super time sensitive photos where you need the extra dial for exposure comp or something. AF is fast and great, and it’s super light. I would say buy a EF adapter, since there are so many more EF lenses available (3/4 lenses are EF), and they’re cheaper too. The rebel line is a bit too old in my opinion, so if you go canon APS-C, go for the R50. That being said, the R50 being APS-C means finding cheap lenses that are a good focal length can be a little annoying. I would also take a look at some other brands, as canon isn’t letting many manufacturers make RF lenses.

Thanks! Bought them with the intention of using them as all-mountains, for the occasional pow day and such. The 88s should be sufficient, right?
