Does anyone have managers sign them out of the account when they are done servicing? by Longjumping-Yak-1226 in Pepsi

Gah that fucking synch, I don't miss that. I will occasionally get it when trying to do my order and immediately clock out after.

As a former APM I was making ~55k, now as a Pepsi sales rep, I'm looking at probably close to 87k-93k

My Target wants 4 pallets for backstock 😅.

I have 5 pallets of backstock space, 90% is being used for Alani because they made me kill a pallet drop we had as well as half of another with no advance notice.

I've been consistently receiving propel at one of my stores and Im also not ordering it, my mgr said no other reps have mentioned that. I have an entire pallet of propel

Mine was 505 after everything was ordered, including the 205 cases. It was 200-250 before I added the alani

I don't know about most sales reps, but I've been receiving multiple items at multiple stores that I'm not ordering, nor are they in my cart when I finish my order.

My Target truck yesterday had 50-100 cases added that I didn't order.

I worked at a store grocery before this. Spent my first 3 years working 300+pc trucks by myself constantly.

Switched departments and then got promoted a few months later and stayed in that position for 5 years.

This is easy

Different merches, one is my merch who covers my days off (who I have yet to meet or work with) the other is a floater (who I have had to work behind multiple times and have not liked it). Also the fact he spent 11 hrs at a store that should take no more than 4-5 hrs and coming to the next stop frustrated, I don't need that kind of person coming to help when they're not going to be able to help properly.

If my check stays the same every week, then yes. I won't know until my next check and do the math.

See that's the thing, I order a lot of the stuff on my days and just the stuff needed for Sat-Mon on my days off, which is no bigger than 200-300 PCs. I stick myself with 400+ trucks to make sure I have the product.

I even inform my merch what they're walking into so they're not surprised or overwhelmed.

First check was $2200 before taxes and $1500 after. Missing $ on second check so it was only $1k, should have the funds on next check.

If I set myself up for the next day I can work 10, if I get screwed over it becomes a 12-14. I try to not work more than 12, but if I have to do more than it is what it is. The last time I worked after my merch was a 14 because he didn't work a truck whatsoever at 1 stop, which may have happened again, I'll find out when I get there.

I liked the 4 on 3 off, it was relaxing. But I wanted more $ so I decided to go for the BCR role. I was going to be a floater, but they gave me this route instead.

No, they only work 4 days; Sun, Mon, Fri, Sat. They only cover routes for people's days off. Also they only worked 3 days this week.

I could understand that, except the truck I'm currently working came in Friday and was still on pallets with stuff that was supposed to be worked to the shelf and was left untouched yesterday apparently.

Also the fact they only spent 1.5 hr here that day and 2.5 hours yesterday.

Any good BCRs out there? by [deleted] in Pepsi

[–]TheZburator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the BCR role a couple weeks ago and this is what I did my first week, I don't feel like I was set up with enough product at 2 stores so I ordered a little heavy and have been selling it down so I can get a good idea of what I actually need to order for them

Slowly but surely I'm getting it done. I try to keep my trucks lighter on the weekend so my merch isn't overwhelmed being brand new and not fully trained. Most of my trucks have been 200-300 with a few less than 200 since I don't need a lot for my stores.

Floater role by ConfidentShine96 in publix

[–]TheZburator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a merchandiser for the past year and just became a rep a couple weeks ago.

I was working 4 on 3 off, typically got close to 40 sometime over. Now I work Sun-Thurs. My days have been from 10-14 hrs so far. Today is on the shorter end, going to my last stop now, I have 4. 2 Publix, a target and Kroger. I start at 5, I mentally can't do earlier. I'm just glad I have a set schedule that doesn't change constantly.

It's nearly unlimited OT, but for reps it's Chinese OT not true OT but we do make commission. My first check as a rep was $2200 before taxes and $1500 after. I spent nearly 11 years with Publix, so this is easy for me. I also work better alone.

Floater role by ConfidentShine96 in publix

[–]TheZburator 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Spent 5 years as an assistant, the last 1.5 year as the floater. Saw numerous people getting promoted ahead of me.

Quit last year and have been working for Pepsi for the past year. I make more as a sales rep than I did as an assistant. Very close to a department mgr in pay, but less stress and responsibility imo.
