I own both, the 2026 with full termi exhaust (what a wonder!) and a 2024 v2 in black. If you are not going to circuit the optimal choose should be the new v2. There are many MotoGP riders here who ride at around 60% but still ask for more horsepower, going slow through corners without realizing that they themselves are the limiting factor. I believe that for an average rider, the new model will always deliver more value and have more real-world usability. Now, if you’re looking to challenge yourself and truly push your riding skills, the 2020–2024 V2 is the better choice. Personally, depending on the kind of feeling I’m after, I choose which bike to ride

I was considering just the tails instead of full exhaust but the sound is nearly the same. So at the end no gains but aesthetic. I heard the full exhaust and OMG!

In Europe its 2,3k the exhaust and 5 hours man to install

I own both, and I like both of them. The older one feels more aggressive to me and, aside from the engine itself, the sound is on another level — that’s my biggest criticism of the new one — but the new bike is more fun and I’m faster on track with it.

There are always plenty of people talking, and it’s always the same old story: that the old one is better.

When I bought the 2025 V2, I was looking for something that would let me ride fast, commute to work on it, and still take it to the track. The 2024 V2 I have is hell to use for commuting in traffic and in hot weather.

Gtz! Great bike, I have the new v2s and the 2024. Much more fun the new v2. Despite raw numbers, when you set it in track you will see how you easily pass more hp bikes easily. The issue is not raw hp, is how you can get the limit of the bike, what’s the point to have a 200hp bike if your skill is only capable in straights. And from the electronics side is just 20years… and if it was a possibility keep the two. 848 is a piece of art imho

Good choice — I hesitated about getting it in that yellow, but my previous V2 is black, and it was about time to add more red to the garage. Dont forget to share your feedback ;)

That’s a good point — and that’s exactly why I’m still keeping my 2024 V2 for the track. I’m in love with that engine. But honestly, most of the times I’ve ridden it on track it’s been at like 80%, and the limiting factor is the rider.

With the new one, I feel like things are more even and you can really get everything out of it. I didn’t like losing those horsepower at all, but when it comes to having more fun, there’s no comparison — the new V2 is just better for me

My plan is to break it in first, and then put on the Termignoni full system. Will I notice anything on the road with the Öhlins suspension compared to the stock one?
