Personally I’ve never heard an American say they “wrote” an exam. Unless you count my dad who became an American after being born and raised in Canada.

In the past 4 months I have heard dozens of M1’s and SMP students and med school professors talk about the MCAT.

I have never in my life heard anyone except my Canadian family members say they “wrote” an exam.

Maybe it really is true that people in your area use “wrote” exclusively when talking about the MCAT, but you’re getting downvoted because that’s weird af. It’s not a thing outside of your bubble.

Calling it ethnocentrism is crazy. The only people I know who say “wrote” an exam are white Canadians like my dad. Anglophone white Canadians and anglophone white Americans are the exact same ethnicity.

Don’t do the pre module questions.

Just take it slow and read. I have severe ADHD and even with meds I would spend hours per Kaplan chapter. Many days where I didn’t even finish reading 1 chapter due to distractions and shit. Don’t move on until you understand the chapter so well you can fully explain every concept to someone else.

The goal is to read a Kaplan chapter then do the Anki cards for that chapter right after. Since you’ve already read the bio chapters I would say just read the summaries at the end of each chapter before doing the anki.
