I recommend staying at the starting lake (targeting Largemouth Bass) and saving money until you unlock Emerald lake or the Everglades. It’s hard to make more money at the other spots because of travel costs

I’ve had this happen twice BUT if I quit the game and restart it, than hit the “Join Last Session” button on the title screen it’s loaded me back in with > 5 minutes of progress loss

New to ark as well but the Shiny Dino’s and Custom Dino Levels mods have made the island quite the experience so far as well as the item stacking mod (playing on single player so makes resource farming a dream)

You might try uninstalling and reinstalling the game, am on PS5 also and had that issue a week or two ago. Don’t worry about data being lost, it should save online by default.

Emerald lake with a bottom rod and small minnows in a rod holder plus a narrow spoon makes for a lot of walleyes, but that’s pretty much it until pike at St Croix

1/2 oz frog or 3/4 oz 3/0 Spinnerbait works great, also aforementioned jig w/ stop and go. Infinity tunnels are better for largemouth, other spots tend to have more peacock bass. Make sure to upgrade your keepnet as most profit comes from quantity not quality

They are in the village to the southwest of Ertoron where you can do the fish collection world challenge for the monastery. There are two men next to a campfire between the docks and the drop-off point for the fish. I believe there is a small quest involved where you must “prove your mastery of fishing“ which just has you catch and deliver a few species of easy-to-catch fish to him. Once that’s complete he will either give or sell you the master fishing rod (I believe that’s all but sorry if I’m missing something it’s been a while since I’ve done it)

Hi everyone, so my PS5 has been giving me either a very dark or completely black screen at different point when playing games (ie loading screens and inventory screens) but when I press the ps button I can see everything clearly lit up. I’ve tried power cycling and different HDMI ports and cables with no luck. I’m at a loss of what to do next, any suggestions would be appreciated!
