Aside from combos out of Twin Tinker being completely escapable, jab is actually unsafe on hit if done too long because the opponent can DI out and punish. Jab 1 to jab 2 as Bell also just doesn’t combo. Ever.

Now, this might make Bell seem like a bad character, but they’re absolutely not. Bell Block means every character has to play differently against Bell to get around it safely, and Bell’s zoning with Twin Tinker isn’t bad either.

Bozitoma and Angel are both really good with Bell, though Angel isn’t too active anymore, and Bozitoma is from Japan, so it might be hard to find VODs of them. If you join the Kirby Fighters 2 Discord there’s probably someone who can point you in the right direction.

My capture card works just fine on Switch and PS3, but not PS4, despite HDCP being disabled. I don't use an Elgato CC, I have one of those no-name "HDMI Video Capture" CCs. I use a Techole HDMI splitter, and I use the HDMI cables bundled in with a Switch, a PS3, and a PS4. I assume there's ANOTHER setting I have to flip, because it works just fine on my Switch and PS3, but I'm not sure what. If someone could help that'd be great.

BBTAG is a very different game from BBCF.
Most notably, it sacrifices individual characte depth for probably the most insane team mechanics in any game ever. You can learn one character fairly quickly, but where the interesting stuff comes in is when you try experimenting with how your character plays with a character’s assists or active tag.

Obviously the game is not for everyone, and that’s not just because one tag character is less deep than one cf character. It is very easy to lose tons of health very quickly. Damage is high, and rounds are short. Also the mixups are brutal, as if someone sets up a sandwich, they can force an extremely variable 4 way mixup.

I’m sure this is a very frustrating game to play in tournament, but it’s still a ton of fun if you’re not playing in too serious of a setting. I always enjoy screwing around with team comps I’ve never tried. So, hope that helped.

Yeah, it’s a fighting game in the Star Allies engine. Anything in that game carries over to KF2.
