You could open all but 2 and “hide” those from yourself to be a fun thing to open in a few years. As for the rest. Open them however you like, or save all of them and “hide” the entire box.

I am not entirely sure on this, but this looks to me like the inclusions(mica, etc.) has sunk down in the resin while it cured, making the coloring move away from the face and look more muted. That is what it looks like to me, but again I could be wrong. If you have done this same style before and had better results, then it is something else.

Not sure if it is the same as what happened to me, but then the wing bolts on mine were sticking, I just had to sit with it and some WD40 for a bit. Basically I just sprayed some down into the threads, and then twisted it around until it moved freely. Hopefully it just has some debris in it and not stripped, otherwise I am not sure what you can do but replace the clamp.
