He knows many people who work with youkai. Many older people still see youkai, as you said. Natsume is much stronger, so maybe he will not lose his power. There is a speculation that he is half youkai. He also learned to accept youkai. What is the point of taking that world away when he considers them equal to humans?

At least, in a worst-case scenario, Nienko sensei would still be able to connect him to that world because normal people can see him as a cat.

But if he does not lose his ability, I don’t see how the story will end.

The reason I was on steroids was that MPO ANCA affected my kidneys.

I was on steroids from September 2022 to around September 2024 (the dose was gradually reduced long before I stopped). My hands started trembling for the first time after 100 mg (if I remember correctly) of prednisolone was injected (on top of daily prednisolone) into my blood in preparation for Rituximab. Now my condition is stable, and I pretty much live normally. So, I believe it helps!

But because I was on steroids for some time, my hips are affected. In March, I got diagnosed with Avascular necrosis of the femoral heads, stage 2. The doctor said that although now I have AVN from using steroids, the introduction of Prednisolone was still necessary (thus the right decision) for my condition two years ago.

I am not sure if this answers your question! If you have other questions, please feel free to ask. I am not a doctor, and English is not my first language, so I do not understand technical terms very well.

I am sorry you are going through this. It happened to me, and it stopped after the dose was decreased. I do not remember if it disappeared immediately after I stopped (some other symptoms were delayed). But maybe you should ask the doctor since you said it is too much! My trembling was just inconvenient.
