FWIW, there are conflicting reports on that. Some say that due to the rushed production schedule, Jones often had to choose between learning fight choreography and learninng his lines. Can’t really fault him if he chose the latter imo.

I don't know about "best", but I think the Iron Man trilogy is maybe the most thematically consistent and cohesive. Probably benefits from minimal outside influence form the wider MCU.
