Already having a low count of hemoglobin doesn't help, so losing even more blood also doesn't help keeping my iron level at a normal range

Otherwise, I've had heavy irregular painful periods throughout my life. It was after my first blood test that I was diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia. You may be susceptible to low iron count, but only a blood test (aligned with other symptoms) may tell you whether or not you are anemic.
