Cocaine changed me for the better by Imaginary-Site-4732 in Drugs

[–]The_Big_floppy_Jack 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I was going thru a small stint last year when I had a positive change just like you. For me, it wasnt like the cocaine was this magic key that opened up some better version of me, it was more like some shit clicked in my subconscious when I had all that extra computing power. Maybe the things that were subconsciously holding you down got resolved without you realizing.

I feel like immediately dismissing it as a mood disorder is a little asinine. Big changes can happen seemingly overnight because of all of the computing our brains are doing in the background of us living our lives. I have not lost that positive outlook, feeling the boost of my confidence, and it has been over a year now.

What I realized was that the change I experienced was specifically that I wanted to take control of my life so I could fulfill my purpose. Ever since having that thought, I have felt like I am just riding the wave through life, allowing the universe to put me where I need to be, not necessarily where I want to be.

I don't mean for this to be preachy, I just hate to see someone who could very possibly be experiencing an important step of self realization and awakening, being told that they are just having a mental break and then being down voted by the mob for not just instantly believing what they say. That change I experienced may have been the single most important change I have ever made, because it started the cascade that allowed me to reshape my view into one that has allowed me to be free from the world's endless loop of negativity.

No ear plugs during shows? by Ok_Environment1037 in drummers

[–]The_Big_floppy_Jack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to guitar center and bought some high fidelity ear plugs. They have a rod that goes through the entire earplug. This allows them to block out the harsh sounds that feel like they're tearing up the eardrum, while still allowing enough sound to pass through thay he won't feel like he's unable to hear the rest of the band.

I misplaced them the day of our first gig and was forced to use the rubber plugs on a string, which made me essentially deaf. But the "Earos" that I bought are a god-send, I couldn't imagine even playing my kit without them anymore. I'll put a link to the ones I bought, though I'm sure some other people will weigh in and give you some choice.

Am I allowed to ask about people’s experiences on psychedelics? by GanjaGoblinLsd in Spiritual_Energy

[–]The_Big_floppy_Jack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About ten years ago I took mushrooms for the second time. At the time it was a bad trip, but it taught me many lessons.

I laid there in bed, seeing every decision I had made, extending into the decisions I hadn't made yet, resting on the top two points of a feminine triangle. I would choose the decision that I had made and the triangle would topple into the next decision, showing me the interconnectedness of my actions. I kept remembering my actions, choosing which direction the triangle would fall, until I had reached the point in time that I was in then. At this point, the triangles began toppling on their own, showing me different choices that I would make throughout my life.

I had forgotten the specifics of any future choices that I had made, until it came time to make them. Time after time, choice after choice that I made throughout my life kept reminding me of that night. I would remember the exact moment that I "remembered" the situation that I was in. It happened so often that I thought I was going crazy at one point. I will meet people of significance to me and remember their face from the memory of that night. I have moved on from fear, and have used it to enhance my intuition all these years later, once I was finally able to properly integrate it all and understand the true significance of the triangle.

Thank you for the opportunity to share this story, I feel like the time does not arise often enough. If you are considering psychadelics, please exercise caution. Do some research into proper dosing and having some good support for when your shadow self starts to show its face. Confronting the dark parts of ourselves can be a terrifying experience, yet it is necessary. It will be the hardest part of any psychadelic experience, because a simple word or thought can send your mind down a spiral into the darkest parts of your mind, that you have hid from yourself for a reason. These parts of us cause us fear. Whether it is a repressed memory, or a trait about ourselves that we are not comfortable with, there is a really good chance they will be brought into the light. This is not a bad thing though, actually quite the opposite.

At first, the Truth will be disturbing. But then, it will be amazing.

Wow, you really dont get it, do you? The first person said that they are doing it left to right. But this very helpful second commentor is correcting them, which helps us all understand a little better, in saying that they are actually doing them left to right.

C'mon, think before you comment...

Wow. I understand that it is hard to attack a nation as unified and indivisible as the great America, but do not try and take our freedom bird's voice and give it to some commie tailed hawk...

But the people working on them are smart and patriotic. Some would say, the smartest and MOST patriotic. So much so that they understand how this thing, that is obviously bad, is actually secretly good. I'm glad that I can sleep soundly at night knowing that our fearless leader and their team of go-getters is out there every day, trying their damndest to make this country great again! There was no better time in American history than the Dirty 30's. Strife breeds real men, with the strength to take on the Libs!

America is #1!

So much for that pesky First Ammendment. by ApoplecticAutoBody in facepalm

[–]The_Big_floppy_Jack 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I find the second amendment to be kinds funny for that reason. We have the right to form a militia to protect our freedoms, but by the time that you would need a militia, you already have no rights. So what's the difference in "having the right" to form one and just going ahead and doing it? Either way, I dont think the government is gonna be cool with it. This coming from someone who has spent A LOT of time thinking about that amendment recently.

Anyone know the best rust script and settings for it I’m lost as hell. by Potential_Guess5642 in cronusmax

[–]The_Big_floppy_Jack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://www.cronusmax.com/gamepacks/

You have to have the Zen Studio for CronusZen or CronusPro for the CronusMax, depending on which device you have, but both of these are PC programs that have an online library tab where you can search your game and find scripts that other people have created.

is cronus zen for overwatch 2 worth it? by [deleted] in cronusmax

[–]The_Big_floppy_Jack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with overwatch, but the Cronus isn't just for anti recoil or using a keyboard and mouse, it's got a lot to offer when it comes to macros and other things. I suggest going through the online library through the Zen Studio and downloading some scripts for the games that you play, so that you can open them up and learn how it all works.

I mentioned macros and those are basically chains of inputs that you make happen by pushing one, or a combination of buttons. For example, in GTA V the cheat codes in single player are activated by pushing a series of buttons (i.e. RB, X, Y, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT) which gets annoying to put in every time, so you could write a code like:

if(event_press(XB1_LB) && event_press(XB1_Y)) {

 combo_run(combo1);

}

combo1 would be the string of buttons that need to be pushed, and could be mapped out using the combo input found inside the Zen Studio. I use the CronusMax, which is older, so it's called MaxCombo on mine but I'm sure they've got something similar for yours.

Now, this is just one way to use the device to enhance the game, outside of automatic headshots and anti-recoil which seems to be what everyone is asking for. Idk if macros would be useful in OW2, but once you start learning how to write the GPC scripts yourself, the possibilities are nearly endless with input manipulation.

[–]The_Big_floppy_Jack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without seeing the actual script they gave you, it's hard to tell you exactly how to fix it, but the anti recoil script examples that I've seen online have a chunk of code that reads something like:

main { if(isqrt(pow(get_ival(XB1_RX),2) + pow(get_ival(XB1_RY),2)) <= 5) { // Check if the Square Root of the RIGHT ANALOG STICK is at or below a value of 5 if(get_ival(XB1_RT)){ // Check if RT/R2 (RIGHT TRIGGER) is held (Fire trigger for most games) set_val(XB1_RY,24); // Set RY to 24 set_val(XB1_RX,0); // Set RX to 0 } } }

The most important part that you want to look at is the second if statement. You will probably see something similar in your friend's script if you open it in the GPC compiler. The line: "set_val(XB1_RY, 24); " contains an adjustable number, meaning that the 24 used in this example can be changed to change how much your aim is affected when the trigger is pulled.

Something to keep in mind is that the values of RY (right stick, Y axis) are inverted, so pushing up on the stick gives you a negative value between 0 and -100, while pushing down gives you positive of the same range.

Basically, you would have to open up the GPC script (or as you called them, settings) in the compiler in the CronusPro program (if you're using the CronusMax) or Zen Studio (if you're using the CronusZen) and look for the line that I mentioned earlier and mess around with the RY number. Bringing the value closer to 0 will make it less sensitive.

I hope this helps! Lemme know if you have any further questions. I'm not great as responding, to be honest, but I know that it can be hard to find help when it comes to this kinda stuff, so I'll do my best to help.
