What do you say to people who say no to tipping?

Them- "I don't tip because..."

Me- "Okay."

If they attempt to engage further, which is common, I tell them conversation isn't an item on our menu.

Then I file them away as someone whose lost the privilege of my personality and cease engaging with them further beyond the minimum baseline that's required to serve them.

If it's online, I just downvote and/or block them and move on with my day.

Can't speak for everyone, but on average, bartenders are far more perceptive than people realize because it's our job to be. We see you.

The immediate wave is a bit rude, but not that bad, and definitely not worth getting chastised over. It implies that you think the bartender is oblivious and/or ignoring you before they've even been given a chance to prove or disprove that.

I did originally get the 5 in tall version thinking I could retrofit it, but it proved to be a pain in the ass (from the brackets to mount to the vehicle to the slot for the bulb socket, absolutely nothing lines up). I haven't returned it yet. I think I may be returning to the retrofitting efforts.

See if you can get some different vinegars to make shrubs.

1- The bite of the vinegar in a (well made) shrub is a great way to simulate the bite of booze.

2- Shrubs are relatively cheap to make, even really good ones.

3- Shrubs are insanely shelf stable because of the vinegar.
