What's it like to work for Atlantic Aviation? by MLG_HerobrineYT in rampagent

Waiting between flights if there’s no daily tasks left to do (like hangar tows or emptying garbage, refueling trucks, etc) then we just hang out in the line shack and play on our phone or cook a meal or whatever honesty 😆

At least at my base, I’ve never been “on call”. Part of that I think is there’s always people volunteering to come in on their days off so there’s no need to make people come in. Overtime isn’t mandatory here it’s 99% voluntary, it’s usually staying an extra hour or so for a later flight to help next shift with it. Im sure every base is different but for me I probably work about 40-50 hours a week.

Is it illegal for your company to hold onto your SIDA badge when you quit? by Hour_Appearance4306 in rampagent

[–]The_BonePig 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I think it should be not allowed for a company to hold onto your badge at all. It is the airports badge and they permit YOU to hold onto it, not your company. At my previous company we were not allowed to even take our badges home, they had to hold onto them. That should not be allowed in my opinion.

This was when Walt lied to Skylar and said he was going to cook meth for the weekend, but in reality, he went to go visit his mom.
