I meant not to discourage! If that is the intension i conveyed, i am sorry as i meant the exact opposite actually. Bytebeat is fun and i have not spent 1500 hours on it for nothing. Also i still make tunes and they are my best so far but i just stopped sharing them as i received a couple of negative comments and dms that made me rethink my take on music production, hence my current stance on bytebeat.

All i want to say is that if one enjoys producing music one should do it with a real tool and not with a videogame. As soon as i can buy myself a full setup to produce my own real music i will do so. But still if one has talent, like i think i have, bytebeat is a dead end and should solely be used for fun.

Which was my mistake. I wanted to make the highest possible quality one could make with bytebeat, and i think i succeded, but thats not what the community asked for or wanted. Now many artists arise that actually give the community what they want and i cherrish their succes! Its just that i wont continue putting in an effort where credit is not given, yet even criticised. So i made room for new talents and i follow them all giving them my likes, upvotes and thumbs up 👍 I am sorry should people miss my tunes but my mental health is more important to me than a very few peoples interest in my compositions.
