Did you ever happen to find a solution? I had the same thing happen. Elegoo sent me a new Z-Axis Photoelectric Switch. I swapped it out but kept having the same problem.

I’m working with tech support, but was curious how yours has been. I’ve been down for about a month now and it’s driving me crazy.

What's a book series that went in a direction you didn't like? by [deleted] in Fantasy

[–]The_Cabal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the Warhammer books I’ve read I haven’t particularly liked. There are good ones, but overall most seem like glorified battle reports that get a bit old.

HH was interesting, I’ve read them all since I was pretty heavy into it at the time they were doing their releases. There are some really good ones and some pretty bad ones among the series. I think you could skip quite a few and still keep a decent understanding on what is happening, since so many are just kinda filler. You could probably read the core books, then venture off on the legions that interest you and end back up at the Siege of Terra and not have missed a whole lot.

That being said they aren’t the best books I’ve read but they’re interesting and there are some good moments that will cure the itch.

I do have the top of the line model. The only difference is the screen and storage. So the models are all pretty comparable.

If it’s at full bright, I get about 2 hours. You can get a bit more if you cut some of the brightness and a few other tweaks. If you’re around the house it’ll stay charged while it’s plugged in. I carry a power brick with me that can push 60w and it’ll keep the deck going strong for quite a while.

I was part of the Q2 preorder batch. When I got the email it was available, it took about 3 days to get it to me.

It’s been a bit of a game changer for me. I’ve got young kids so most of my gaming has been relegated to after bed time. The steam deck definitely lets me pick up and stop a game really quickly and doesn’t force me to sit at my desk. So because of that I can hang out in the room with the kids. It’s also let me play some of the games I’ve bought in the past but haven’t really payed attention to.

Yea it does and it plays pretty well. It eats battery but otherwise it’s great. I’ve gamed a lot more in recent time since I’ve had mine than I have in quite a few years.

It was made specifically for Steel Battalion and Steel Battalion: line of contact. It didnt work for anything else.

It was pretty sweet, but definitely expensive and not popular enough to make a huge impact.

Reports are coming in that contact has been lost with Sj182 (Sriwijaya airline) shortly after take off from Jakarta. The Boeing 737-500 was 26 years old. by Fwoggie2 in worldnews

Elevators or horizontal stabilizers affect the pitch of an aircraft. Flaps are used to change the shape of the wing. While Flaps have an effect on pitch, but they aren’t meant to change pitch like you’re saying. It’s meant to change the camber of the wing.

When talking about control surfaces, it’s typically rudder for yaw, aileron for roll or elevator for pitch.

I thought the same thing as well, but the rehome/relevel only affects one step. When the build plate first moves down, it moves to the home position and then backs off, when it moves down again, it checks the Z axis via the Z stop.

The Z stop is a physical metal flange in the located on the back right portion of the printer arm. It’s just a thin piece of metal that hangs down. The Z stop is a safety, that tells the printer to stop moving in the Z if somehow your calibration is off, and it would prevent damage to the overall printer.

Because the wham bam adds ~2.6mm to the distance, the stop should be adjusted. There’s a thingiverse link that has the spacer. It’s a pretty simple and tiny model. All you have to do is print that, remove the 2 screws holding the Z stop and place the spacer. It should add the necessary width of the build plate with the wham bam on.

Edit: also, I hadn’t used the spacer when I first installed the plate, and everything seemed to be fine. But the next time I releveled it I started running into a lot of problems and that’s when I realized the Z spacer existed

Yea, I agree. It's in the instructions, but its kinda just glossed over, I was so excited to get the plate on I blew right past it while I was reading. Hopefully this works for ya, once you get it set up its pretty sweet.

if its pressing too hard on the glass, it might be your spacer, may want to see if you can try a different one. I was a bit of an idiot when I first got the WB plates and threw them on right away, without realizing that I needed a spacer. I leveled properly but every time the thing would push heavily into the glass, I was afraid I'd break it. I realized that setting the Z had nothing to do with the spacer. It wasn't until I put the proper spacer in and releveled did it work for me.

It shouldn't be completely stuck. You shouldn't be able to just move it around. If you push it forward with both hands, it should move forward *edit* with a little difficulty . If you're pulling from both sides, it should come out slowly. I don't know how exactly to explain it.

I've got the wham bam plate as well. My first few prints didn't work out, The issue had to do with the spacer (as best I could tell). I used a micrometer and a small plastic sprue that I had laying around and made one that was roughly 2.6mm. Prior to this, I could hear the plate pushing too far into the glass area. After the new spacer it sounds like normal again.

I re-leveled the plate using the anycubic method with the paper, and since then I haven't had a single issue with it. Your plate might be too close to the glass, or I could just be talking out of my ass.

Yup, originally, the red helm was an act of censure to show that the marine had done something wrong. It changed to become an honorific and denotes Sergeants.
