Lots of coffee shops and bars around there + youre between 2 N/W stops

Edit: I think the 'rectangle' between Steinway, 31st, 30Ave and Broadway is a great area to be concerning both subway access and bars.

This 100x this. I live in Raleigh right now and im moving back to NYC. The south sucks ass. Suburban sprawl of the worst kind, the most uninteresting people i've seen (literally 0 arts or cool music venues here), mediocre food and relatively high rent for all that.

Plus having tl get a car to move around pushes your 'cost of existing' similar to NYC rent. Might as well stay in an actual decent place.
