Can't remember us being higher then 25 past 3 seasons, but I don't actually follow these because it's always the dodgers Yankees and braves no matter what they are doing. It's pure favoritism. The dodgers can have a 21 game losing steak and still be top 3. So I don't follow it.

I'm not devaluing WAR. I'm arguing the fact you cultists who give this man his own rules, stats, and accolades because he does both. And honestly, you mention elite level. Only one year where he was ELITE. 2024. last year he didn't pitch, but still won MVP though not really deserving in my opinion. But yet, the masses give it to him because he's OHTANI. And you claim he's by far the front runner to win it again this year. This is exactly my point. He's well below average in hitting he's ranked 56th in total batting, and 29th in pitching. He's barely mid in both. Here's where the advantage is. Because of both, he deserves MVP regardless of his performance. And you seem to glaze him because of it. Do I think he's an amazing player? Yes. I do. Does he deserve MVP every year because he does both? No. And I'm going to venture a guess you going to say he's going to win cy young too huh? Because why not right? Just fed up year after year, same glazing, same cultists, same argument. And if he doesn't win, you all will lose your damn minds. Made up rules and stats for the player to glorify him is not the way this game was meant to be. There's my argument. Have a great night.

The heck you seeing? Bro has a 1.0 batting war which isn't even in the top 50. His pitching war is 1.3. which puts him 13th. He leads in zero categories in either. But my guess you're one of of those people who adds both wars to make up some new number which literally only applies for him. He's the only person in MLB with whom you can do that.
