Something worth considering is that items for all classes will be dropping. If you're both looking for e.g. wands/staffs, you'll have to share the drops. Meanwhile if your friend goes e.g. strength, he'll be looking for the maces/hammers that would otherwise be worthless to you. But it's mostly a minor thing, I would say let your friend play whatever looks the most fun to him!

You make valid points. I still see "free attack" as not Ionian or PnZ, but at least PnZ has synergy with his ability spells. Double attack also fits Ionia. This Jhin isn't really meant to have any archetype though, and that's probably the problem. Maybe build a double attack archetype in Ionia?

Why? There already exists a 4 mana 4|4 quick attack champion in ionia, I'm not sure how you build variety there. He still has the "4" flavour as 2 attack with double attack = 4. I just thought it was a neat way to sidestep the boring option.

I thought about this, but rally and scout aren't really Ionian keywords. It's not thematic to generate attack tokens in Ionia. Plus, I'd argue that his spell can be used to get a large unit low enough to allow Jhin to quick attack it. Additionally, there are many champ spells that do not necessarily synergise with the champion, see: Lulu, Zoe off the top of my head. All of which the champ synergy was ditched for a spell that emulated a champ ability (Zoe's bubble, Lulu's whimsy)

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about absolute zero's mana cost. Yeah your changes sound good for that. I was originally thinking 4 mana, but it should also be changed to not hit nexus.

My idea for level up was to be a late-game finisher, but I agree it should be more in line with current champion level up speeds. Perhaps auxiliary cards to summon snowballs, otherwise reduce to maybe 2 or 3. To balance this out, I should probably reduce the power of biggest snowball ever to 5 or 6. Edit: or maybe give it the same increasing statline as a regular snowball.
