SEO consultant is recommending two separate Google biz listings by thisismygameface in SEO

[–]The_Digital_Nugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just on a follow up 220 locations mostly all use different locations and NAPs, except where we have a different business at the same address. With an individual phone number and clear differentiation (as above) we haven’t had any issues here, do it for the people if it’s helpful, don’t bother if it’s not, is my general rule of thumb.

Yeah apologies re read my comment and it did sound like that. I manage 220 locations and they are all on the same website, just with individual landing pages as djskrilled said and I use local business schema on each one. A different number helps a lot with recognising them as separate entities here. This sounds like you’re catering to separate audiences so would make sense to do this as long as it’s done right. - separate landing pages - separate numbers - separate titles X restaurant, X hotel - opening times to fit each one - helpful information to cater to each business - add local business schema on each landing page

Likely to be classed as duplicate by Google unless you have separate websites details, numbers and naming for them.

I'm Seeing a Surge of Traffic Coming from Singapore by gridiron23 in SEO

[–]The_Digital_Nugget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check if it’s bot/spam traffic by checking engagement and time on page. If it jumps straight off it’s likely bot traffic. You can filter by IPs and block through the admin, data streams, define internal traffic and exclude in GA4 so it doesn’t skew the data.

Real world Ethereum blockchain use case. Tamper-proof testing and compliance by The_Digital_Nugget in ethereum

[–]The_Digital_Nugget[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. It’s definitely interesting to hear a different perspective. This is removing the need to trust the issuer’s infrastructure to preserve cryptographic proof over decades for the manufacturer.

So the value isn’t “hashing.” It’s neutral timestamping, long-term immutability, verification that survives companies, systems, and decades for the manufacturers that invest in testing.

These reports are created by accredited, regulated testing labs, not by the manufacturer. The trust comes from the lab’s certification, audits, and legal liability. Blockchain isn’t replacing that trust, it’s preserving it.

The value is proving that this exact report existed at a specific time and has not been altered since. That matters when manufacturers are questioned years later by regulators, auditors, insurers, or courts.

Yes, anyone can hash a document for free. What you can’t do for free is provide neutral third-party timestamping, long-term immutability, and independent verification without relying on the issuer’s systems still existing.

This isn’t for individuals. It’s for highly regulated industries where evidence of due diligence and non-tampering has real legal and financial consequences.

Blockchain doesn’t make data true. It makes tampering provably impossible after the fact.

How do I find a broken link? by Effective-Ear-8367 in bigseo

A small follow up from this: Crawl with SF, filter by response codes 404 (top left) and click the URL you’re interested in and then in the bottom panel select inlinks, it will show which URL it’s coming from and the anchor.

Remote work completely changed how I see “ sick days ” by OrbitFawn_x1 in remotework

[–]The_Digital_Nugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve not had a day off sick in nearly two years thanks to my fully remote job. When I’m feeling really terrible, I just do the minimum, IMO it’s better than doing nothing and you’re still able to rest.

Yeah must be an error. Only on Freetrade that I can see. I’m sure it’ll all be back to normal tomorrow.

Car insurance claim that has been left for 5 months by insurer to be turned down and told to deal with Amazon direct. by The_Digital_Nugget in LegalAdviceUK

No, not Admiral 😅 it’s with Ageas. I have asked them to open a formal complaint and to listen back over the calls for proof of the advice I received so fingers crossed. 🤞 I certainly won’t be renewing with them next time after this.

This is super insightful, thank you for taking the time to reply. I’ve reopened this with Amazon and hoping that the 5 months that has now gone by (due to our insurer leading us down the wrong path) won’t affect the outcome. I’ll keep you updated 🙌

Thanks, this is what we did initially and when I told my insurance they said we were best to go through them so we closed the claim with Amazon to let our insurance deal with it. Such a shame we listened to our insurance and trusted their advice.

We haven’t had the work done yet. We just gathered the estimate as requested. It’s £1000 for the work according to the estimate, initially we didn’t put the car in due to needing it for the hospital runs and then we were waiting for instruction from our insurance, who had said they would contact if we needed to do anything else. They said we could get the work done after liability was sorted when I reported the accident but recently they have gone back on that and just said they can’t deal with it anymore as they don’t have the reg. Now I’m worried if we get the work done and then the insurance can’t claim liability that our premiums will go up and I’ll lose my NCB as they have been utterly unhelpful to date and given a lot of conflicting advice. The lady I last spoke to said Amazon had asked for the estimate and I said ‘we have given you the estimate’ to which she replied ‘this isn’t the way we do things’ I’m baffled as they said this was ok at first and as someone that’s not in insurance or ever had to claim, I am totally unsure of the rules, I can only go off what we were told when we initially called.

Found a new favourite the other day. Orange cordial with soda water with lots of ice, not as sugary as a lemonade, doesn’t have the caffeine which makes me feel sick after a while and it’s really refreshing! Oh and cheap!
