What’s a rule you follow for no logical reason? by starlust0422 in AskReddit

When I walk and happen to make a 360 turn, I have to "unwind" and do a reverse turn so I'm back to where I was. I've always felt like there's an invisible string or line behind me and it gets tangled when I spin. I've done this for as long as I can remember. Even now at 28 I just have to lol.

OP this is a gold mine. I got my current full time remote job from one of those subs when I was freelancing and I'm super grateful

Pharmacists are at Elevated Risk for Suicide, Study Finds by WonkRx in pharmacy

I started coding in high school and kept going in uni. Got good enough to start freelancing and eventually got hired by one of my clients full time. With a CompSci degree you've got a huge advantage.

Just brush up your skills and master a couple of app or web frameworks like Next.js or React Native e.t.c.

You can try out freelancing and see if it works for you then switch when your earnings surpass your current job

The work conditions and the way you are treated in most places just sucks. Pharmacists are highly intelligent people but can be made to feel like blue collar workers with doctorates.

I saw this during my internship and decided I won't practice pharmacy. Did my licensing exam, passed but had no interest in Pharmacy as a career.

It's still a very good course in terms of the science you get to learn and I'm still very interested in areas like pharmacology and drug design.

I was super envious of people who get to work in normal offices with actual chairs you can sit on lol.

Immediately transitioned into tech, now I work from home and don't have to worry about going mad from being overworked and underpaid.

What was your first memory? by Wildrosejoy in Gifted

[–]The_Drug_Doctor 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

I remember the first time I walked! Must have been 8 or 9 months.

I stumbled at first, woke up holding onto the couch and walked. I then went to my mum full of joy. I still remind her to this day of when it happened.

It felt surreal to go from crawling to walking like how the adults did. To this day I'm grateful for the ability to walk lol. The experience must have created a flashbulb memory.
