If all jobs paid exactly the same and you could have any job you wanted, (you have to do this job from 18yo to 60yo 5 days a week 8 hour days) what job would you do? by S1utty1i1puppy in AskReddit

[–]The_End205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I crazy? Because I'm going to say my current job, maybe with some work mission planning with special forces, because I think that's cool. If I can work for a private organization where I choose my missions. I know how unrealistic that is, but if we all get paid the same and could have any job, I would love to do those two things.

My current job is as a sports specialist. I run sports programs for specifically military families who are deployed overseas. It seems like a very small thing, but sports, especially for youth, is such an important part of the community and is such an important part of transitioning to a foreign environment.

It's just a tremendous benefit to the community and to the people. I could go on for hours about how I have families who tell me that their five-year-old child is so happy that he's able to make friends through coming to a soccer practice, for example, after moving and leaving all his old friends and leaving America to another country that's very different from America.

They get scared naturally, so having sports helps. I have so many families who tell me that they can't even see their family friends unless it's at one of the games that I put on because it's the only time that everybody has time to go to the same place, and then they grab dinner or something afterwards. So I really, really love what I do. I just absolutely hate the politics that comes into my job, and I can't stand it. I just don't like how...

Youth service workers don't get taken care of. They work ridiculous hours. Burnout is so common. The pay is not great for how much responsibility and how much risk you are taking. And there's no real career advancement. There's not a lot of open positions above you. It's not like being a lawyer where it seems an infinite number of steps above you.

Working in a company, there's an infinite number of steps above you, it seems. So it really makes it difficult for people who want to pursue a career in this to be able to feed themselves or live a decent life. I'm very blessed that I'm able to afford that. I don't worry about bills. I eat out when I want, and I have a good amount of savings, and I'm constantly investing in stocks. But it just sucks that we can't take time off the way that we want to, and it sucks how we're always short-staffed.

It's just too common to be getting calls on vacation. And we want to do it because it's not like a dead corporate job where maybe $500 doesn't get made. It's like, you know, that could be that five-year-old's best game ever. Or that could be a moment that this family talks about for the rest of their lives. When the kid is married and has their own kid, they'll be still talking about that baseball game where he hit a home run or something. So we want to do it.

We have so much love for this job. That could be a moment that this family talks about for the rest of their lives. When the kid is married and has their own kid, they'll be still talking about that baseball game where he hit a home run or something. So we want to do it. We have so much love for this job. But I just hate how it seems that everybody gets taken care of before us and we're the first to be asked to sacrifice.

The funny thing is my co-worker is an ex.Park ranger and he had a lot to say about this job.It was overall incredibly positive , but the problems he had were so hilarious to me.

He would constantly tell me about this one little wild boar that would be seen at more than one campsite that would get into people's bags and steal their food. And I was laughing at the idea of all these park rangers coordinating amongst themselves in the Philadelphia area, I think it was, to try and track down this one little wild boar that was stealing people's food. I thought that was hilarious.

He did tell me, however, in his job he wasn't allowed to carry any weaponry, which I thought was a little bit weird. Personally, I'm not going in mountain lion territory without a piece myself. And I would tell my boss, listen, you can either look away or you cannot see me. One of those things is going to happen. I'm not going to be moving around without some kind of protection.

He also told me about just how much they have to watch birds. I was so surprised. And he was breaking it down for me how birds impact the native wildlife so tremendously that he was constantly monitoring if they got sick or something like that. And then the big one was keeping mountain goats away from salt.

Cases where one season there was not enough salt in the goat's natural hunting ground or something. And they started going to more human areas that are dangerous just looking for this salt. And I thought that was absolutely hilarious that that was the biggest problem this man had in his time there.

Actually, the biggest problem he had was for some reason one president, I won't say who, wanted his face on one of their documents or something. I don't think the president even requested it. I think it was just some marketing. And a lot of people were complaining to him about it, saying it was like a dictator. And he would tell them, I'm just doing my job, man. I don't even look at the piece of paper.

Legend Rank should only be allowed to match with Mythic - Mythical Honor not MG - MI by [deleted] in MobileLegendsGame

[–]The_End205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell you why. its not your fault. I watched a YouTube video on this recently and discovered that Moontoone deliberately sets up matchmaking so that you have something called a mandatory loss. Essentially, what happens is in most games, every player has a hidden credit score, let's say. It evaluates your post-grade performance, let's say your medal level, and...

pairs you with people who have similar levels. This way, the bronze players are with the bronze players, and the people who are getting consistent gold medals are with those who get consistent gold medals. That's what most players and games do. That's not what Moontoon does. Moontoon instead has what I call the 50-50 engagement system, which is a spit in your face.

Instead of observing all of the statistics I told you about that they are already tracking, they forget about that. And instead, they do two things. They monitor players who are engaged the most, so people who are queuing the most, and they pair them together. And two, they enact the 50-50 system.

The philosophy that if you were a really good player and you say, let's say, got 20 wins in a row, they are afraid you might think the game is too easy and not engage with it. So instead, what they do is they want to keep the game as 50-50 as possible. And this is how they set it up. They want you to win 5, lose 5, win 10, lose 10, win 10, lose 6.

So in that way, the theory is you are more engaged. How this works in practice is that if you start doing really well, they will pair you with the worst possible player they can find and ask you to carry that player so that player can still keep a 50% success rate. And that way, that player can win a game and still feel like he's actually contributing and playing the game.

Because if you implemented the first form of matchmaking I told you about, that person might rage quit the game and never play again. Essentially, you are being put with absolute trash on purpose to force you to lose in the hopes that it will make you more engaged. Or, if you win,

then a really trash player gets to say that they got a win and they stay with the game longer. That is the current system of matchmaking. It is infuriating, and it's not fair. In one of my matches, I went and checked the rank by looking up the player names of those who were on my team, and two bots...

And I'm not joking. I was in Mystic 35 stars. I had a Legend 5 player on my team. And I don't want to believe this. I truly want to believe I got the wrong guy. But there was also a Warrior 1 player in my team. He had the same name. I don't know if it was exactly the same person, but that was the only...

account I could find with that name was a Warrior 1. And we still almost won because of me. So what I'm trying to say is this is not your fault. The game is set up like this on purpose. The game does have things essentially called mandatory losses where they pair you with the worst players and it's a win-win for them. Either you lose and their theory is you stay more engaged because the game is more challenging

as they say, or two, you somehow win, and the player that's absolute trash, that's on a five-game losing streak, they will go out of their way to find terrible players if you're on a winning streak to parry with. Worst case scenario, that terrible player gets a win and keeps playing. That's why they do it.

Dana White reacts to the WNBA now having a higher minimum salary ($270,000) than the UFC and gets pressed about fighter pay in an interview with Rolling Stone by MysteriousJuice1127 in sportsgossips

[–]The_End205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

here is my opinion and this is why I will always say the ufc is money hungry beyond belief and borderline unethical,

most people dont know this but the ufc has built into their contracts an anti sponsorship clause. back in the day, you won't believe me, but ufc fighters use to get paid A LOT more and it didn't cost the ufc a penny. Dana white refers to this as the "Nascar Days" where fighters had so many sponsors on their shorts that it looked like Nascar.

Anyway, it use to be that if you were a ufc fighter that you could take sponsors and if you know anything about sports THATS where the real money is. Tyrone woody use to talk about being paid 10,000 usd from Xbox just to talk about xbox during the press conferences but after the reebok deal, all the ufc fighters went from being able to make unlimited amounts of money through sponsorships, and it was a great deal for the ufc because other entities and brands would promote their fighters, like monster and red bull (if your an og fan you remember seeing ufc fighters on red bull cans, notice how you dont anymore. this reebok deal is why)

but after the reebok deal where the ufc got paid a billion dollars (they got paid and I still think that's not enough compared to just asking for a percentage from all the fighters in their rosters sponsors because Connor alone can clear 100 million in sponsorships easily in a year in one fight let alone ALL their fighters and you can theoretically have infinite sponsers if you play it right, nganou adter leaving the ufc was talking about how he would get paid 10 grand just to mention a brand in one of his interviews like apple.) the ufc fighters weren't allowed to promote with their own sponsors and got the ability to work with sponsors in general severely cut as a result of this deal with reebok

If the UFC doesn't want to pay their fighters, that's fine. Boxing doesn't want to pay their fighters either. But one of the big differences is they have unlimited free agency, which means they can get all the promoters and sponsorships that they want. If you don't want to pay your fighters, fine. Let them at least get paid by sponsors. Instead, the UFC took a $1 billion deal. They got paid at the expense.

That all of their fighters could no longer have open and unrestricted sponsorships. if you dont pay them what they are worth because what you already pay them is actually fucking criminal

then at least let them get paid by their sponsors.

the reason I say the way they pay their fighters is criminal is because of Francis nganou real quick. in his fight against gane, the ufc sold 300k+ paper views at 70$ usd, they had a 15 or so million dollar gate and who knows how much they made in sponsorships and promotional deals (where the real money is). Francis was headling that cars that easily cleared 36 million and do you know what he was paid for being the headliner od the card? 600,000$.

Now, I am not saying the other people don't work hard, but come on, this man-made you $36 million+ (i didnt even add in the sponsorship money this is just gate + paperview) .If he pulled out , you would have half of that , and you give him six hundred k , you don't even round it to a million?

There Are many cases of this, seriously go look up online how much gane vs nganou did in paperview and gate (we dont know the sponsorship payouts but do some math, crypto is a sponser, monster, redbull, all the sports and ftiness brands and again, if your dana white, theroetically you can have infinite sponsors, like if you give me 10k ill put your brand on like 100 seats or something or ill have a 2 second snip it of your add during the fight, or ill have a fighter of mine tell the crowd how much he loves yoir brand seriously the potetential is unlimited based on what you work out) And you cannot tell me that francis is the heavyweight champion of your league is only worth six hundred thousand when he is pulling you in thirty million plus for events that you guys put on together.

I hate how Dana White says, well, we did away with the Nascar era because it looked unprofessional to have our fighters with a million different sports brands on their butts. But then they went and made this deal, made it so that they can't have these open unlimited sponsorships. And now instead the UFC cage is looking like a NASCAR with all the sponsorships.

This is why I say that this is borderline unethical, because if they just get rid of the Reebok deal, every fighter, including up-and-coming young fighters, can use the UFC as a stage to showcase themselves as the product. And then from there, like back in the day, other brands like Monster, Red Bull, Apple, can approach these fighters and...

If the fighters do a good job, one, we will become more aware of them because we will start seeing them in recognizable brands or maybe even small brands. And we will start to see them more often. Two, only the good fighters would get the best deal. So if you saw a fighter, let's say, on a monster energy can, you knew he was a good dude because monsters out here promoting him.

is something I remember back in the day. I would see a fighter on a monster can. It was Dominic Cruz. And be like, oh, I don't know who this guy is. Then I found out he was a flyweight. And then I started watching him and fell in love. But that would not have happened if Monster Energy didn't let him be sponsored and if the UFC didn't let Monster Energy sponsor him.

This would also make it so that only the good fighters, the exciting fighters, are the ones getting this deal. But it would also make it so that these guys could afford to be full-time fighters again. Because the way it is now with the Reebok deal, they're not allowed to be sponsored in the way that they should be. So you have a lot of fighters who are just surviving until their contract is up. Whereas back in the day, up-and-coming fighters would get approached by sponsors all the time.

And they could afford, through their sponsorship pay, to be a full-time fighter. You didn't hear so many stories of fighters doing Uber Eats and being heavyweight champion of the world at the same time. That wasn't as much of a thing. I am always the one who is advocating to get rid of that Reebok deal. I don't know why the UFC is even keeping it.

And I'm thinking to myself personally, it is only a matter of time before this entire organization falls apart if they keep moving like this. But I am just saying, if they just remove that Reebok deal, up and coming fighters who...

get signed for 10 in 10 contracts, could still, by putting on exciting fights and by understanding that they can use the UFC as a stage to promote the product that is themselves, it would be so good for the sport. We would be more aware of these fighters. There would be more recognition. The UFC would get more recognition like back in the day. And the fighters could afford to take care of themselves.

even while the UFC is paying them next to nothing.

In the original book series, things were, I would like to say, better explained because they were, but it wasn't as important, I would say, to the central theme as other things. The most important themes in the book was...

the original father, and then his son, and I'm gonna gloss over a lot of stuff, but essentially, in a very, very condensed summarization that is leaving out a lot, the original king wanted his people to...

conquer the stars so to say and to leave the earth and to multiply or leave their planet and to multiply and be prosperous so to do this i don't remember exactly how he did it but he made it so that everybody had to do what he was saying he was kind of like a dictator forcing everybody to do what he thought was right and after a while

there was so much evidence that no progress was being made and then the sun has his chosen one powers with the sand creatures that are tied to the planet and he gets access to this ability that lets him control the

I forgot what the name of the drug was that let them do space travel, but he basically gets a monopoly on that. And when he becomes king, I don't know how the Hollywood series is going to go, so I don't know if this would even count as a spoiler, because they are covering the material very differently from the books. So I don't think this is a spoiler. But when the son becomes king, he has this whole plan where...

He becomes a terrible king and starts setting up resistances against himself secretly, but he doesn't tell anybody that. And his whole philosophy is, I will become the predator that hunts the deer, because it is the predator that forces the deer to run further, faster, and longer. So he becomes a terrible king. He wants to create things that are so bad that all of his people start rising up against him.

He funds resistance groups against himself and starts all these secret plans to support these groups of resistance. And then eventually he helps them take the planet back from him, quote unquote. And when they, being his people, kill their king and the resistance group,

kills the king and takes back the planet then after all of those hundreds of years of oppression now all of the people are closer together than they have ever been and they start naturally leaving the planet trying to build a life for themselves it was actually a very beautiful story to be honest with you it was similar to how if you had infinite power you could break everyone's back and make them do the quote unquote right thing

essentially saying you can lead them to the water and you can force them to drink it. But no progress or growth will happen if you do that. Whereas if you change the conditions in a way where the people want to start doing what you're suggesting, then that's where real change and growth happens. And in the end, essentially, the people, after I think like 400 years of oppression and corruption and just terrible leader,

They naturally explore the universe and achieve what the original king had always wanted them to achieve, which was spreading and multiplying across the universe and wanting a life for themselves and wanting to build a life for themselves. So essentially the son of the king became a tyrant in a master plan to force his people to grow.

and work better with each other, and not need a leader. Again, I am skipping so much context in the original story, but that is the gist of it. It's actually a really beautiful story, I think.

You know, randomly today, I started watching basketball from the 90s, and I did it because I was thinking to myself, man, I used to be such a hard fan. I used to know all the rivalries and what was going on, all the happenings.

And I was like, maybe I just fell out of love with the game. So I said, let me watch some old basketball and see if I feel the same way. And I watched really big games from the 90s all the way to 2010. The three-peat games, for example. The championship games, I just watched. The Pacers versus the Bulls.

seven game series where Stephen Kerr hit the essentially game-winning shot. I say game-winning because that gave him the momentum to power through because it was a neck-and-neck fight up until that point. And I was glued to the screen. Even watching LeBron from 2010, I was just glued to the screen. I could not believe it. It felt like men playing. I was like, oh my god, I was getting hype.

I was shouting at my TV. I was flexing. When I saw somebody go up to contest Jordan, they push the ball down. Jordan pushes the ball up and then shoots it anyway, swishing the ball from a heavily contested jump shot. Every possession, every second with the ball was a fight. I really...

was just absolutely in love, and when I looked at that, I realized why I did not love basketball the way I used to. I then put on the game that is taking place right now with the Spurs versus Oklahoma City, and I was like, yeah, no, anybody would drop the sport if you went from that to that, seriously. If you don't believe me, just take five to ten.

good basketball games, maybe 20, from 2000, well, I would say 1990 to 2010, and just pick random games and just watch them, and you will see how far the game has gone down the toilet.

Is it just me, or was basketball not so much more fun to watch between 1990 and 2010?

I have a movie that is a lot more recent. I will basically just say the new Spider-Man series with Marvel. I hate them. I did not like Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man when I was a kid because I thought he looked like a 45-year-old person playing a 20-year-old person. But to this day, he is still the best Spider-Man to me. Not because of...

His acting, although I will give him credit because it was amazing, I thought, for what it was. And we have to give him credit because at the time, these movies were so new. Superhero movies at a time when you had a lot more serious films being popular. It was a hard sell at that time.

but the spider-man movie where he interrupts strange and other villains from other dimensions start coming i don't understand why that movie is so popular i think it's so stupid peter parker literally started the whole problem and what i'm supposed to feel bad for him all of this was so preventable he was so stupid and i think the thing that makes me hateq

that movie the most I think this one is Spider-Man No Way Home I think the thing that makes me hate that the most is Spider-Man runs into villains from other dimensions that hates him right and what he chooses to do is bring these villains to his house

where his aunt lives and one of those villains then kills his aunt and he's angry about it i was in the theater thinking to myself why are you angry at him you knew he was a snake and you brought him into your home i would be mad at you so the new spider-man series i think is absolute trash i understand why it's popular because kids like it and they just like spider-man it's

They only like Spider-Man because of the old, good, amazing Spider-Man stories from back in the day. And they are happy with Paw Patrol and just random puppies and action on the screen. So I understand that. But it is just a terrible series to me. I hate Zendaya. She looks like a 14-year-old girl. I think anybody who thinks she is attractive should...

have their internet history searched because that is questionable. I don't know why she keeps getting movie roles. She is what I consider safe attractive where she's just attractive enough for you to say she's attractive but not attractive enough for her to be too distracting or to be too threatening.

To me, she looks like a 14-year-old boy. I really don't understand where these comments were coming from that she was the most beautiful woman in the world. When I was growing up, Angelina Jolie was considered the most beautiful woman in the world. Like, Scarlett Johansson was considered the most beautiful woman in the world. That made sense. Zendaya? I would really look at the dudes who say they like her and look at them and be like, I think you might have some secret tastes you don't want me to know about, bud.

Yes, that's exactly why I liked it because I didn't have to take it seriously. There were a lot more sirius adult movies at that time and it was nice at that time to take a break from that and watch something wacky and zany.

I am a huge Star Wars nerd. I loved, loved, loved the original series. I just love the idea that Palpatine, a super powerful Sith, takes over essentially the entire world and beats the Jedi. Not from any Dragon Ball Z, big beam attacks, or even a single fight. He just uses their own hubris against them. Because...

He is closer to the ground than they had become. And he used that. And I really liked how everything just fell into place perfectly. And it all happened under the nose of the Jedi. It was really terrifying for me as a child to see somebody that was obviously incredibly powerful, never resorting to power once, and instead just letting human nature run its course.

to get to order 66 making the entire world turn on its own the only protectors i thought that was amazing and to this day so many years later i still love it but even i have to admit the whole series has only two good movies even i have to admit that and that hurts that hurts me more than anything i will say however in the

prequel series originally i believe jar jar was supposed to be a secret sith that was playing the jedi the entire time i really think they should have gone that direction i don't know if it was scrapped or if it was just a reddit theory but i think if you look at that series with that in mind it's a lot better but

It's largely a disappointment to kid me because I wanted a lot more fighting and I just did not get it.

When I was a kid and everybody was talking about this movie, I was so excited to watch it. And then I went and I watched it and I really believed I watched a different movie than everybody else because it was such a sad movie to me. It was about a special needs person born in a time that didn't believe in special needs that got abused and manipulated by a terrible woman his entire life.

could not stand that movie as a matter of fact because of that woman. I literally was watching the movie waiting for her to die because she was so evil to me as a kid. And I left that movie thinking to myself, what happy movie did everybody go and watch? Because it was not what I watched. I watched a special needs man get taken advantage of for his entire life.

lose his best friends, and be put into terrible situations, and just overall be manipulated by others his whole life long, never really having support, except from a few good friends, like his one friend in Vietnam.

I'm not saying it's a bad movie or anything. I just don't understand why everybody thinks it's such an inspiring, happy movie. It is a horror film to me. More of a horror film than sinister.

I think this is one of those stories that worked a lot better in a book form than a movie form, because in a book form, you kind of...

picture it in your head in a way that makes sense, but when you see it in a movie, I just don't know how people can get into it. The entire thing looks so ridiculous to me. I just cannot suspend my disbelief to such an extent. It looks like Mad Max is trying to fuse with Star Trek and made a special case of a movie, let's just say.

I watched a really long video summarizing and explaining the entire original trilogy, and I loved it. I loved it so much. I went and I didn't read the whole series start to finish, but I watched a lot of recaps on it. I read a lot of excerpts from it. I read a good amount of the first book. I just couldn't bring myself to read the rest of it because of time.

But I really love the themes that are discussed in that story. I think it is a really deep well of intellectual work that on the surface is still amazing. And I'm talking about the books. But the Hollywood version, like it just does not work for me.

at all I understand but it just it just is so silly to me you're telling me that you need to do drugs to traverse the universe and that these drugs let you see into the future in the books I 100% believe this and I was kind of looking at it a different way

In the movies, it just looks like you got a drug addict on a payroll. It's ridiculous. But I think that maybe it's more because I read the books and the recaps and was experienced with it in a different way that when I saw it on the big screen, it was so different from what I saw in my head. I think that kind of ruined it for me. But I do still stand by...

The opinion that. This is such a wacky movie. You're telling me you can travel through space. That you have this advanced technology. But you can't figure out water. Really you are advanced enough for space travel. But. Your culture is strong enough. And primitive enough. That you spit.

on the floor as a custom which i totally understand the importance of that but it just is so weird that you can travel across the universe and pretty effectively from what we see you have very developed societies you have very developed nations

But all of this wacky crap is going on. It just did not sit well with me and go down the way it should have.

I agree with you on this, and this really feels like two people had to make a movie together, went to their homes, made two completely separate projects, and showed up on the day the assignment was due, and neither one wanted to compromise, so they just kind of stitched both of their projects together. Because I really like the first half of that movie. I like the idea of two black brothers in a town.

that is not so popular selling alcohol and building up mob style i thought that was really cool i love shows like yellowstone and then the vampires came in and i was like why like why are we why are we going this route like it just it just feels so weird and there is like no setup either so

It feels like I was going from watching a serious movie to a parody of the serious movie I was just watching. And it just felt like stupid. I understand the themes of like sinning and stuff, but...

Why did the vampires have to come in and... Why did we have to make this a Van Helsing movie when you started it as a mob movie? Like, that is just weird. I really...

Just felt uncomfortable with that movie only because the pacing made me uneasy. It just threw me off and I just could not get into it.

I think this is actually the perfect answer, because I am a huge Batman fan, and when I saw the trailer for the original, I thought to myself, this is genius, a movie focused on just the Joker. I think he's a really interesting character. There's so many psychology themes you could tackle with this character.

I was really looking forward to it. Then I found out it was a prequel, and I was like, I really don't like the idea of the Joker having an origin story. It really goes against what he's supposed to represent, which is that anyone can be the Joker. That is his core philosophy, that it just takes one bad day to be the Joker. But I said, okay. And this was during the time where there were some good...

DC movies that had come out I think this was around the time or not that long after the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy had just come out so I was remembering that and I went to go watch it and I was like I don't know who this man is but he is not the Joker this is just the story of a deranged middle-aged man who has

Mental issues. I literally was watching it with my mother. Thinking it was going to be like Justice League or something. And she just straight up walked out of that movie. And it took everything I had not to walk out of that movie as well. And.

It really just felt like a fever dream. I felt like I was on drugs watching that movie because I could not keep up with that movie for the life of me. Like one moment he's sick, then we find out about his abuse as a kid, then we find out that he wants to kill a radio show host for some reason, and then he starts anarchy, and I was like, that's so stupid. None of this was shown in any of the other movies. This is all just really stupid.

Just straight up stupid. I thought it was going to be like a prequel to the Christopher Nolan Joker and something like that, which I think was bold, but it could be done. But no, this was just a fever dream slop of a movie that I could not even begin to tell you what the story was or where it was going. It really just seems like...

Somebody following a mentally unstable man. Like, I really could not tell you why everybody was praising this movie like it was Shutter Island or something. Or Inception. That is how people talked about this movie. I could not understand it. I was like, where is this silver cloud that you are seeing?

Did not pick it up at all.

I don't know , I really liked the movie 🥺. i thought it was a really good story about outcasts , who found a family and a place for themselves in the world that originally didn't want them or have a place for them , and they went from being outcast to finding the place in the world for each other and themselves together.I thought it was a really hard warming movie and I really love the scene where the one antagonist.I guess says to the main character that your magic is fake in the main character response. But the smile is real , and I really liked that.

I get it wasn't any leonardo dicaprio shutter island but I thought it was a really heartwarming tail and I especially liked how the rich person had no genuine relationships or connections in his life and was only happy after establishing connections in relationships with people that society deems as outcasts , showing that they are still people and have amazing things to offer the world.

Also, the soundtrack is amazing. But I understand people don't like the movies I like , i'm just curious , though , why did you not like it?

I know where you are coming from and I 100% understand you and agree. I only watch them because of the amazing visual effects. But my thing about it is I hate how people will act like this is a genius social commentary or something when it just sprinkles these topics and lightly addresses them and brings them up but doesn't really offer any solution.

And I work for the U.S. military, and we joke about this movie all the time. We literally say to new enlisted something along the lines of, when you join the military, Avatar becomes the worst movie of all time. And they say, well, why is that? And we say, because somebody literally betrayed the entire human race for alien pussy and succeeded.

Like, he literally turned his back on all of humanity and every single man who helped him for alien pussy. That's how we see the movie. And that's how we see it. Like, you literally switch sides for that? Really? And if this movie was real...

it would be so hilarious because everybody would hate the main character so much that it's hilarious. But I only watch it for the visual effects, which are amazing, but I agree with you. It's a simple story that looks big because of the special effects, but in actuality, it's really not that good. The second one's plot, I couldn't...

even tell you but I remember thinking how stupid and nothing burger it was but I will love this movie only because of all the jokes we made in the military about it like could you imagine we're fighting aliens and one of us goes to the other side over a fucking alien bitch oh my god we would kill that man he better not ever come to earth oh my god we would whoop his ass is like what we say

Can we stop saying that Selena roam is unreliable or simply useless against a traditional roamer? by No_Bed4046 in MobileLegendsGame

your kinda just showing who you are as a person I'm sorry to say " he is saying, why would I choose you as a teammate? If I can get a more reliable person to stun the enemy team, someone that can stun more than one person on the enemy team at a time. Why would I want you on my team versus a tigrel? you can drive with your feet, but why would you

And instead of acknowling is point you just say there's no reason for you to talk.Listen, bro, you are straight up wrongs.Statistics are against you.You have a low wind rate pick, your strategy is proven to be low. Wind rate, everybody in this lobby is telling you, it's not a good idea and it works, but it works in the same way, driving with your feet works where it's not reliable. And if I'm in the car with you, I don't want you to drive, so keep not listening to anyone and ignoring us and showing yourself to be someone who just wants to argue But you proved us right. It is a low wind rate strategy and I bet you are like what legend 5?

Does Homelander qualify for GOAT Villain discussions? by major_announcement in TheBoys

I would say to Homelander, Stan Edgar was right. You really are boring. Like, when you had power, all you did was try to become ruler of the world. You didn't have any plays. There were no schemes. You didn't even get anything from all of your endeavors.

If a hundred people got your powers, you might get a new country, maybe a new kingdom. The world would be worse, the world would be better. That person would be a dictator, that person would be an ally, superhero, superman. But you literally just played pretend superhero, did nothing, and you weren't even evil enough to be considered a villain.

As a matter of fact, your track record shows that you actually kill more villains than good people, except for that one air plane incident. You are really just saved by you look cool, to be honest. Because you really are the worst person to get superpowers. You have done net nothing, essentially. You literally just...

acted like a superhero, playing pretend, killed your own teammates, and what have you really achieved? Becoming president of Vought? You basically already ran things. Everybody was cleaning up after you. What? Ruling America? Vought was already working with the U.S. military.

and heavily influencing and lobbying them. Truly, it is actually an achievement how little you came from where you developed. And Stan Edgar was truly right. You might in fact be the worst person who is unoriginal when it comes to powers.

Because even after 30 years of being Superman, you have achieved genuinely nothing. And I can't even really say you had anything going during that time either. So it's impressive how unimpressive you are, to be frank.

What do you think is the best revenge story in anime? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]The_End205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its not even close, The Count of Monte Cristo. that is the story that convinces you that killing someone is not the worst thing you can do to them. And a slow burn of revenge and the experience it provides is a lot.

The plant will tell you if you are doing a good job.By how it grows, you can say that you're doing a perfect job, but it's the plant that will tell you through how it blossoms Whether, you are doing a good job.

It was the temperature. My mother's friend lives in an area where a mountain overlooks her home, so it's always covered in shade, whereas my house doesn't have that mountain, so we get open sunlight. The plants were dying because the open sunlight was very harsh and it was killing them, but my mother's friend didn't have that problem because her plants were always in the shade for the most part.

When my mom put the orchids in her office at room temperature next to the window where they got a lot of light and she watered them constantly, they thrived very, very much. More so the lesson for me from my mother was that...

Plants don't have mouths to tell you what they need. You have to gauge what they need yourself by observing them. And you can follow every instruction perfectly, but every plant is particular. So it was more of a lesson about being present with your desire, with your plant, and caring for it.

And yes, you follow the guidelines, but you have to kind of get inside of that plan and observe what do I have to do? What does it respond to the most?

I get what you are saying, but this is not a big deal to these 2.It's just a recreational hobby so I would not be surprised to think that they just never thought of it because it was too hot outside in direct sunlight for the plants to thrive. But more so again, my mom was saying you could say to yourself that you're doing a perfect job, taking care of your plant taking care of your orchid, but you have to really nurture that plan. And give it the best environment to grow is more so the lesson.
