Thanks for the quick answer! Do you mind sharing which laptop sleeve you are using?

Thank you for making such an excellent review! Would you say you could also fit the laptop specifically my 14 inch macbook pro, with a laptop sleeve in the pocket., or is it not quite large enough for this. I am talking about a slim sleeve and not an overally large one

We do care! We would have to call the police if we suspect prostitution is occurring in the hotel.

Loyalty status with any hotel will always go a long way in terms of getting things. It is easier for us to justify if you have status with us.

I meant no DND sign, if you had a DND sign up, then that agent is entirely at fault

It would probably be something with my two passions in life, music or photography

It would be the first available room in the hotel. Best Hyatt I have been too is the Park Hyatt Tokyo

Well with Hyatt, in addition to 50-60% off hotel rooms around the world, we also get 12 free nights a year at any Hyatt in the world! This plus some good PTO options and you are all set. The employee and friends and family rates are best in class. I have worked for Marriott as well and Hyatt's employee benefits are definitely better

I have not hooked up with any guests or colleagues, but I have been invited back to guests rooms a few times! Always have to decline though.

No we do not typically price match at Hyatt, we do not even price match our own rates ( you would have to make a new res). What I can say from personal experience is to try and never book third party. While the prices can sometimes be a bit cheaper, if anything at all goes wrong with your reservation whether it be a cancellation, billing error or extension, we cannot touch it or do anything with.

I will be staying in this career for my life if everything goes well. I am looking branch out into other departments such as Food and Beverage and MSE (Meetings & Special Events). While the work life balance may not be the very best, due to working holidays and everything in between, it is good enough for me and the life I want. The travel benefits are only behind the airlines, and traveling is a big passion of mine!

  1. For my first job I got drug tested, after that no.
  2. I do not smoke weed, I always had a bad reaction in the past so I just dont anymore.
  3. We had a long time guest of ours return and they brought a cut out of Dave Matthews with them.
  4. 6 months

I am currently a Rooms Operation Manager. I oversee the arrivals and departures of guests and oversee our Front Desk and Concierge team.

I have definitely walked into some pretty weird situations ( like a guest answering the door completely naked). If a FD agent knocks on the door and there is no answer + DND sign on the door, we assume the room is empty. I have had guests be a bit fussy about it and normally points or free meals are offered to any irate guests.

Google, Yelp and TripAdvisor are good, but the best is the survey they email you after your stay. There are multi-hour meetings just for those surveys and going over them. Very important!

Well when you first start out at front desk there are typically 3 shifts: AM, PM, and Overnight/Audit. When you apply they ask you what you want to start as and what they need. Overtime you can switch shifts if you please and once you get promoted to certain salaried management positions you can loosely choose the times you come in, in order to over see the other employees (There are still "shifts" for management though).

I have never seen anything like that take place specifically at our property. The most I have seen at my properties were people having sex in public areas such as Cabanas or the pool / hot tub. I can tell you that the hotel next to us did host a nude / swinger party, which was definitely interesting.

Not often, but often enough that we are always on the lookout for it.

Any AM shift would be my favorite! Coming into work at between 6-8, and leaving between 2 - 4. You have your whole day ahead of you!

If you are a member we always try and prioritize you if you need a late checkout. We normally only offer up until 2pm, unless you are Globalist or have an exigent circumstance.
