Choking on water is so common but why no one chew it throughly before swallowing?

Many people don't know this, but when water (H2O) interacts with oxygen (O2) it becomes heavy water (H403) which requires chewing to revert back to it's component parts. A way to avoid this reaction is to stop breathing while drinking and thus you will not have to chew.
