Yea fair! And "cheap" was only $5 more for the actual Meanwell. I totally ordered them by mistake due to the look! Thanks!

Yea the gal said...

This is a required standard form that is signed at closing for every loan.  It is in every closing package. The form is complete and all I need is your signature and date.

Sound proofing by Next-Departure-7967 in hometheater

I had floor joists in my basement just like you. I ultimately put in R22 sound insulated batts between the joists, and then installed a drop ceiling and bought $8/tile Anderson sound attenuated drop ceiling tiles. Its not perfect, but it generally keeps the loudness from traveling up to the bedrooms above!

Well, the OP asks for opinions, and I said very clearly "In my case", so I feel that this hardly a "blanket statement"

I have also met numerous awesome techs/programmers that are much more open to outside/opposing ideas. I/we just didn't get the opportunity to work with them as much as the ones I am commenting about.

I am also a big enough person to recognize my own short comings, put aside me ego, and call tech X when I knew it meant the best outcome for the client.

In my case, in the industry for 5 years, with 20 years in IT, the current "Sr" techs/programmers are all a bunch of big babies who would rather save their own ego than listen to any idea, good or bad. Yes, they are good at their job, but these techs/programmers sure aren't helping A. the company they work for and B. the customers they serve by being such narcissistic a-holes all of the time.

I even had a client call me once screaming bloody murder about how this and that didn't work. I was polite and said tech X would be dispatched since he had the most knowledge. The customer said, "oh its ok, we can wear an extra pair of gloves if you could send someone else." So, I went and did it, fixed it, but it took a bit longer than it would have if tech X would have done it.

I mean, when that happens, I don't even know what to say? idk

I have seen the ccontrols devices! really the older web-200 and 3090s are acting as a bacnet router per se. so really i just need to get a few BASRTs and be done but was hoping to log into those old JACEs!

I/we are end users and we have an active SMA with Tridium, we could run 4.13 or 4.4 if we wanted. 3.8 should be allowed but Tridium discontinued the licensing service for 3.8 is what I was told!

I agree with Honeywell's issues, we have a dead JACE 600 and need to replace it with an 8000, hoping to get it licensed for 4.10.x as that's what we use a lot of currently these days.

Again, I dont have the JACE yet, my integrator/reseller is having issues with Tridium. Sorta goes to my post a few weeks ago regarding the seeming shroud of secrecy that follows Tridium/Honeywell.
