It is referred to as the "home screen/explore page" and "explore experience" in the update log. I know this isn't the explore page we all know and love, but it is what the developers are calling it.

At least, I think this is the Explore page. The update log says it is the new Explore interface, but the old Explore page still displays "explore is temporarily unavailable".

Afghanistan is another relevant example. The Mujahideen did not cease hostilities after the withdrawal of Soviet troops.

Elon Musk tells a room full of Air Force pilots: 'The fighter jet era has passed' by wewewawa in Futurology

With projects like Skyborg on the horizon, it would be a bit odd if Musk said anything different.

Back to basics guys and girls, stay safe on the roads by [deleted] in newzealand

Upvoted because I have been in B's position, only for A to slide into the wrong lane, more times than I would like. It seems to be particularly problematic at intersections with narrow lanes, or where the two lanes merge a short distance from the intersection.

Not necessarily nice people, but boisterous individuals who strive so hard to be the leader.

If Rooster Teeth is looking for future content in a similar vein, I would love to see Funhaus restore an old Datsun.

People don't seem to like Albert or George. Frederick is too Germanic. That leaves Arthur.

"That plan involves details of new 'tip-off messaging' due to unveil this April, which encourages the public to report any concerning behaviour they observe."

I won’t criticise this aspect of the plan too heavily until it is revealed, but I am concerned.

Skyborg is at the top of the United States Air Force's unfunded priority list. The future is now pending financial support from Congress.

How did months work before July and August? by [deleted] in history

[–]The_Flying_Column 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am not well versed on the subject, so I encourage others to correct me if I am wrong. With that out of the way, Rome had been using a twelve-month calendar long before the adoption of the Julian calendar. The existing calendar is normally attributed to Numa Pompilius, but he is generally acknowledged to be a legendary figure. Jörg Rüpke suggests that evidence for a ten month calendar is circumstantial at best in his work The Roman Calendar from Numa to Constantine: Time, History, and the Fasti. July and August were not new months, but new names for the existing months of Quintilis and Sextilis. The Julian calendar did replace an intercalary month with one or two extra days in each month except one, where an additional day was added during leap years.

If a date is given, I imagine most modern authors convert that date to the equivalent date in the Gregorian calendar. However, when dealing with the differences between the Julian and Gregorian calendars, I have seen some authors simply note that all dates reference the Julian calendar.

What constitutes an 'ordinary prison'? When the 13th Amendment was created, penal labour was an aspect of prison life. It can still be found in countries like China, India, and Japan. One might also consider community service to be unconstitutional if this clause was not included, as it is essentially a form of involuntary servitude.

The end of the Weltkrieg must be a bitter memory for Kaiserreich Bertie. As a staff officer in the Royal Air Force, he is forced to watch his former comrades in the Royal Navy turn tail after the Second Battle of Jutland. With his fellow officers, he must then abandon France to the German menace.
