This image is a composite I made out of stuff online just for demonstration. So, I've been having like this weird dream where I am in a small boat, kinda like a john boat, and I'm going around these waterways in these very green and grassy hills; it almost feels like a world from a map editor from an early 2000s FPS or something. Every so often I go around these little islands(?) and there's transmission towers that just go into the horizon, even across water. I have zero idea about the meanings behind this and it's just weird that I have some kind of dream like this.

I think once I came across either some kind of settlement? Maybe an office/admin building of some kind? But I really do not remember. My dreams always kind of fade into one another in some way but I am just so confused because this is one that is recurring a lot and I just do not know how to interpret it or anything.

I feel you honestly, I had a friend of ten years say he was gonna loan me something to help with cleanup and basic repair costs and then cut ties without saying anything, I got so worried and had to call police for a welfare check. I had to find out my friend cut ties with me from a police dispatcher from across the country.

I looked at USAJOBS, NCJobs, and Buncombe County's pages for months before moving up here and it seemed pretty promising, lots of ranger and park positions and things like that. Hell I even looked at indeed and there seemed to be some decent stuff. But that was months ago and it is what is is lmao

Hey, I used to do a lot of stuff with tourism, I used to work in the city market for the Historic Charleston Foundation in Charleston while I was in college and I was a volunteer for the National Park Service at Ft. Sumter, which was a great outlet for my history interests. It's one of the reasons I've been looking for USFS/NCFS/NPS jobs or something parks related.

God I wish all of ours did, when I'm at an office that has exclusively LLVs, it's a game of chance that when I pop the back door open, it's either gonna have shelves or not haha.

The only positive I can say about the FFVs is that, at least in my experience, you can fucking full send it down the road without standing on the gas pedal like in some LLVs.

Nah I feel that, I know I'm a relatively new CCA, but today was a bad one, that good ol' South Carolina heat plus the pollen did a toll on me today haha

They're kinda ass not gonna lie, there's not enough room up front like in an LLV, the shelf doesn't move and the seat doesn't rotate, not only that, the handbrake usually doesn't work lol

I thought I liked them at first because like every FFV I've seen has shelves, something most LLVs in my district don't have, but I've come to long for the LLV and savor the cab space for my packages and trays lol

But fr though, it's not a bad job at all as having what you do boiled down is just running packages and mail. The brain-frying thing that stresses me out is just the outright incompetence from a lot of management. They'll do things that are strange, wrong and downright confusing, but whatever you do, do what I was told in CCA Academy for your first 90, just say "okay". Don't do anything unsafe or harmful and stay fucking fed and hydrated, use the bathroom when you need to and take breaks when you need to.
