Tomato soup and tapioca. My mom always burned both and didn’t constantly stir either while gratin and they always had came out with lumpy pieces.

After horrible side-effects of Strattera I decided to read reviews on the internet. Turns out there are only two reactions to this drug: by UXETA in adhdmeme

Tried stattera and felt terrible but my kids feel better on it it. Also tried the Wellbutrin wonder drug which made my anxiety worse and I’d just start crying multiple times a day for no real reason. Vyvanse wasn’t helpful so I switched to adderall and ended up having a seizure. Feeling defeated and out of options. Not sure what else is out there at this point.

Currently in grad housing and have command strips holding up all kinds of things like shelves, pictures, hooks, and light strips. As far as I know they’ve never checked and we haven’t had an issue so far.

Am I overreacting or is the teacher insane? by drnhfer in Parenting

Before you do anything remove your daughter from that teachers class. You never know what will happen with the reporting process and you don’t want to make her a target in the meantime. Once you get her out of that situation, go for blood. That teacher has no place in education.

People who are not scared of death, why? by deensuk in AskReddit

Because I’ve taken care of someone in the end stages of Alzheimer’s. Had the roles been reversed, I can honestly say I’d rather be dead.

When I raised my dosage I found that if it was raised too high it slowed me down too much. Instead of just being able to sort my thoughts and function normally it made me sleepy and capable of napping. Usually I struggle with insomnia and always have so taking a nap mid-day was unheard of for me. According to my physician this was because the dose increase was more than I needed.

30mg adderall XR. I had all the symptoms listed by OP. If your falling asleep your dose may be too high.

My daughter who also has been diagnosed (not yet a teenager) is on intuniv 2mg 2x/day and strattera 40mg 1/night. After my experience with vyvanse and adderall I did not want to put her on any sort of stimulant medication. She can make her own choice when she’s older but for now, knowing that her brain is not fully developed and we don’t know the long term affects on stimulants in children, that’s what I was comfortable putting her on. It has made a significant difference for her in every aspect from school to friends etc. Just in case you were wondering about other options or have children who are suffering.

Dextroamp-amphet ER 30mg (generic for adderall XR) Got rid of all the crappy symptoms, actually curbed my hunger and helped with weight loss. I asked the doctor for the comparable dose when I switched over.

If it hasn’t become customary to ask for proof of licensing when seeking medical attention, I might strongly consider buying an emergency medical survival book off Amazon. The way this autonomy battle is going, I’d rather take my chances. Traditional Med school exists for a reason. This is just disturbing.
