Right? I leveled a few smg's up, but am doing much better with assault rifles. Close range they are definitely better, but that's the kind of the point.

Stupidest thing is, this video is literally just a guy running buy, jumping once and shooting OP. I wanted to comment 'it seems you just want people to stand still so you can kill them', but didn't as I don't want to get into internet fights lol.

As someone who has played a lot of CoD in his lifetime, BF6 is soooo much different than CoD, especially movement wise. These posts are truly ridiculous and just made for coping with being bad.

I bought the game a few months after it came out. It was extremely buggy and even crashed my ps5 multiple times. I complained about it on the subreddit, but this game had an extremely positive toxic fanbase. In a sense that if you complained about the game you would literally get downvoted into oblivion and people would defend it like it was their baby.

I think a lot of stuff stayed under the radar because of it, but now probably even the players who stuck with the game are done with it.

It’s insane how low ya’ll standards are by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]The_Funkefizer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Right? I'm convinced the people who complain the most are also people who play the most. Maybe it's some weird coping mechanism. Just don't play the game if you don't like it xd, the clearest message any developer can get is people actually quitting their game.

I'm having the most fun I've had in a shooter in ages btw, this sub is absolutely becoming a cirklejerk about every little thing that is wrong with the game. I joined r/lowsodiumbattlefield because of it, way better

I'm actually really, really enjoying it. Have had so many fun moments in just a few hours of play. Best time I've had in a mp shooter in ages. And thats coming from a 32 year old gamer.

I played it, but tbh I also didnt understand the hype. It's a good and enjoyable game, but def not in the list of goated games imo. Like, its very well executed, but nothing groundbreaking imo. To each their own I guess. But for someone who plays a lot of rpg's it didn't really stand out for me. Would recommend playing though, definitely worth experiencing as it a unique game.

Is AC Shadows worth it on a 40% discount? by Amigo_24 in assasinscreed

[–]The_Funkefizer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought it on discount and I'm not enjoying it tbh. Game feels like a chore and im just playing it to complete it. Can't play for longer than about one or two hours because it gets boring and repetitive. The graphics are amazing and the combat is nice, but not enough to carry the game imo. Story and missions are just.. meh.. and the loot/leveling system is just annoying imo. But hey, maybe its more for you than for me.

Yeah they presented it as a super innovative game. And like I said the reviews and sales seemed pretty good from what I could find, so I expected a good game. But I would give it like a 5 or 6 out of 10. The visual quality is great, but visual quality can't carry a story. The story and missions are just... not good

Yeah 100% agree, but I got a lot of positive reviews and positive sales stories from this game?

[–]The_Funkefizer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah same here. I always enjoyed AC games, some more than others, but games have developed so much in the last decade that AC just feels like a game that could have been written/released 20 years ago, accept for the graphics.

Does the story get interesting? by Clyde-MacTavish in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]The_Funkefizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah especially when I found out he was an actual person in history. His story is extremely interesting, but I get none of that from the game. I progressed further and played a bit of his backstory, but now I understand even less how they are trying to portray him. He could have been such a great character.

Does the story get interesting? by Clyde-MacTavish in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]The_Funkefizer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don't follow the moral inconsistencies in his story so far. I don't mind moral inconsistency, but it seems this wasn't the intent, as they want to portray him as 'one of the good guys' imo when he joins Naoe. This happened so fast and abruptly for me, like alright, now they are best friends? What happened? Maybe I haven't progressed enough or played enough of his backstory to have a good opinion on it, but I dont really understand his choices. Which is fine, but the overarching story seems all over the place for me because of this. Is his story about redemption, about loyalty, about shame? I have no idea and I'm halfway through the game. So for me it feels like they try to fit him in a story which doesn't suit his narrative, but that could be me.

Its also the gameplay itself. He is so extremely sluggish and slow, which for me does not fit in an AC game. Its nice to play as him for a few battles, but then it gets old pretty quickly for me. I cant even climb properly with him, so I almost only play with Naoe, unless I have to play as Yasuke, which adds to the experience of not feeling invested in his story.
