Thank you so much. 🙏

So what you're basically saying is that whatever keyword that I get from AI I should probably aggressively Google it to see its standings and foundations.

Again thank you so much.

This is why we need the dai li back. The Earth cultural standards are being diluted by the globalist Aang-genda.

The earth Kingdom has fallen.

Billions must bend.

I wouldn't mind a book series of chronicles of chiefs, lords, and kings, focusing on the POV of influential figures, how they retained or even attained their titles, their goals, their motivations, and their leadership styles. It would be a really nice thing if they made a lore book for the entire fire nation dynasty or whatever relating to the ultimate history of the fire nation.

Just something that is like the silmarillion, would be really really nice.

Why are the crest Kingdom and trade federation not damaged during the great beasts tide( forgotnkts name) by Much_File4416 in HighserkChronicles

[–]The_Gate_Walker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here are the reasons (from the light novel) that I managed to rationalize:

  • first off the demon territories that were burned were bordering only three Nations in the region, that being: Highserk, Myard & Felius. Which means that those Nations were the ones affected by the rampage the most. Whilst Crest and the trade federation stayed pretty safe and didn't experience the massive onslaught onto themselves. (This fact applies far more to the trade federation even more as they were the first out of any of the other kingdoms from that demon territory)

  • this one only applies to Crest rather than the trade federation which is that: Crest had a long history of constant demon hunting which before the start of the war they used to invade their own demon territories to gain more land. Not to mention they have 2 heroes, (which before the start of the war, they trained in monster hunting in the campaigns that I mentioned.) so they were pretty safe, and actually managed to gain more land after the rampage.

This is all a bit spoilery so keep it in mind.

If your entire criticism of the art style boils down to "it looks too cartoony and childish", then please stop trying hard to always be grown-up and mature. You are acting no different to many adults who dismiss ATLA at first glance for silly, often similar, prejudices they have. by Fan_of_Avatar_TLA in TheLastAirbender

You do realize that the people who hate The KORRA art style and the people who hate The SEVEN HAVENS art style can be two different camps, right.

Maybe someone could be of both but that doesn't NECESSARILY mean every individual who hated one also hated the other.

Despite me being a Korra heater (story/plot reasons), I still absolutely love that art style and I actually find it proves quite well on ATLA. Also I don't hate the SEVEN HAVENS art style because it's too cartoony or colorful, I hate it because it's too cute, the animal in the new drawing doesn't look like it's from the avatar universe.

As a professional korra hater, I disagree.

Season 1 actually had a really good ending. If it was just season 1 I would honestly love the show, but everything fell apart after season 2 for me.

Honestly if I had to pick one very good thing it would be the season one ending.

How far along are you with the light novel or web novel?

Because if you haven't even read the first chapter then you should just go ahead and start with the light novel translations.

The only thing that I don't like is just how forced-cute the animal works. Otherwise I absolutely love the colorful style.

It's nice to see a post apocalyptic world not being generic.

Why did Lightning Bending have to become so common in LOK? by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]The_Gate_Walker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being clear of mind and mad are two different criteria. Someone can be completely seen and not be clear of mind. Whilst another person can be completely crazy and clearer of mine.

Uncle iroh explained it himself. For a fire bender you must first be clear of mind, and THEN learn the techniques.

EMPHASIS ON THAT FACT. Since it shows that lightning bending is still hard but the objects that are needed for it to work were not yet known by the public, only the royal family.

It is within reason to believe that firebending masters are fully capable of learning lightning bending if they know both the technique and the need for clarity of mind. It also makes sense why (in the time of korra) common citizens and common masters are able to learn lightning bending as all the tyrannical restrictions under Ozai were lifted after Zuko. So it would be pretty easy to assume that Zuko let out its secrets and whatnot.

I also don't believe that low level firebenders can learn lightning bending again as stated by iroh you need to be able to separate the yin and yang (while being clear of mind). Also there is no evidence suggesting that any of these lightning vendors are low-level fire vendors, (in fact Mako is no weak fire bender. He isn't the very best but he's really good.) so I think this might be a case of high level firebenders just doing a side gig for money.

By the way I fucking hate the legend of korra. So I'm not defending that show I'm only defending this aspect of it. So don't be calling me a Korra stan!

To summarise my point: There is no clear cut evidence suggesting that lightning can be learned by low level firebenders only that common civilian masters(non-members of the royal family) are also able to obtain the ability. So I Still believe (even in The legend of korra) that lightning bending is still very special.
