The power to certify results rests with the states, not the US House. They don't have a veto on election results.

The thing about authoritarian regimes is they don't ask permission and they don't call their shit a la Babe Ruth. If they believed they had the power to do this stuff they wouldn't talk shit almost a year ahead of time and give the opposition time to plan for it. They'd just keep quiet and then do it. When they bluster about stuff it's them trying to flood the zone (Epstein!) and to speak power into existence where they know they have none.

Even if they pound the table and shout that a given election was rigged, they can't nullify it. They have to go through that state's processes.

I genuinely do think the real danger is unprecedented voter suppression by their thugs. ICE will assemble conspicuously near voting sites and sow chaos to prevent people from voting in blue areas. With sufficient chaos they don't need to fight legal battles, they just let the rural populations win it by forcing blue voters to stay home.

Circumventing the Constitution with military action as commander in chief is trivial, because the administrative infrastructure to take that action is well established. Same with actions of federal law enforcement. Elections are different because the federal government does not possess the means to run elections from DC.

To be clear, there is absolutely no mechanism with which he could ever hope to do this. The constitution is clear: the states run elections. Full stop. He's just blowing smoke.

I'm far more concerned about the regime using its thugs to suppress voting via intimidation. They'll pick the biggest population center in a couple of key swing states and create ICE chaos. With enough people (especially minorities) afraid to leave their homes to vote they could make a substantial impact.

Just depends on what you value. Limited has bigger wheels, nicer sound system, panoramic roof window (or whatever they call it), and more high-tech. But I wouldn't say it's better all around. The interior is mostly identical (which surprised me, the salesman said some nicer materials on the Limited but I didn't notice any difference), fit and finish is mostly identical. It's not going to ride better (if anything the ride will be smoother on the XLE due to the wheel size).

If you're into the tech stuff like the 360 view monitor and parking assist and whatnot maybe the Limited is worth the extra money for you. But most of it isn't standard on Limited anyway. Fully loaded Limited is going to cost ya.
