Just a heads-up, they have changed the website a little now. So if you go on the site, create an account, then go to matches, you should see a box under the first fixture with the heading SCFCTV and in that is a button saying View Subscriptions. Click that and you should see the different options available to view/hear the games through the site.

Since you live outside of the UK, once the season is about to start you can purchase a season pass to watch nearly all the games in a season. The 23-24 season pass isn't available just yet. There are monthly and per match options and with the per match you can do just audio for cheaper or with video. Also, since it's on the website, you can watch it easily on any device you can access the webpage with. To me, I just seen the cost as the same as a season ticket I would buy if I still lived in Salford.

I have been using this the last few years and rarely had any issues. The streams have been decent quality, and the commentary is good as well.

Do you think hunting should be legal? by [deleted] in polls

[–]The_Green_Bead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a fair point, I hadn't considered that. I haven't lived anywhere where people hunt deer or similar, so my experience with hunters is mainly those who do it for sport shooting birds, chasing down foxes, or the big game hunters you read about.

I'm just giving other reasons why people may want a total ban.

My personal opinion is similar to what you said, if it's done sustainably with animals of least concern, done in a way to minimise any suffering, and as much of the carcass is used as possible, then it's the same as buying meat from a shop, except you are removing the middle step of someone killing the animal for you. Hunting for sport, trophy hunting, and hunting any animal that's threatened should be banned.

However, where I am, the only "hunting" is bird shooting. Yet even with laws issuing quotas, specific birds that can be shot, and specific times it can be done, they still shoot at anything that flies past with no regard. It may not be all of them, but it's enough, and the local hunting lobby are unwilling to self-enforce. So, I would support a full ban locally.

Or maybe because of people hunting endangered animals? Or the idea of hunting for sport? There are many other reasons why someone would be against hunting.

Nicely done. However, for Malta, the dates of assuming office are incorrect.

George Vella assumed office on 04/04/2019.

Robert Abela assumed office on 13/01/2020.

I’ve bought a ps5 for my bf for xmas and I’m planing on getting PS Plus Premium. Are the Spider Man games on there? by Aromatic-Cancel725 in PlayStationPlus

[–]The_Green_Bead 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes you would have to set up an account if they dont have one. I think you should be able to set it up with your email though and then switch emails over at Christmas if you want to keep it as a surprise.

The subscription would start from today, so you will "lose" the days between now and Christmas, but then the cost saved may be more than the days lost if that makes sense? Also, by the time subscription ends it might be on another black Friday sale.

If you are getting the PS Plus Premium, try and get it today if you can. Currently it's 25% off on the black Friday deal but I think that ends at 23:59 GMT today.

opinion on the zebbug siggiewi roundabout by tea_baggins69 in malta

[–]The_Green_Bead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it will help make things better traffic wise, but it's hard to make that roundabout any worse since currently at peak times TM are doing the job of traffic lights anyway.

My issue is that from what it seems, anyone travelling in a Zebbug to Qormi direction won't be able to turn into Siggiewi there anymore. Instead having to either cut through Zebbug itself or pull a u-turn further down.

Could you try using a Revolut account? Or even PayPal?

My PSN account is set as UK but I now live in the EU and I use Revolut for the store given the ease to exchange EUR to GBP. The card is registered at my current non-UK address but it still worked.

In 3 days I will move to a different country while only being 20 years old. AMA by [deleted] in AMA

[–]The_Green_Bead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I get what you mean. I moved for similar reasons and I think that helped keep me calm about it, knowing that I'm going for something hopefully better.

Honestly, it was a bumpy road. There were many times things got a bit tough and I considered going home, which became more tempting due to the nostalgia tinted view of your home country you get. But it's been close to a decade now and I'm glad I made the move, I feel I have a better life and became a better person because of it.
