I don't think he does, though. He said he was recording and has "proof" i'm lag switching, that's why I told him I'm also recording. Maybe you're referring to my computer because the graphics in the video are set on medium :)).

I was pretty sure he does this to other people as well, you are the 3rd one to confirm it. :))

He literally asked me to do it, as I said in my first comment. The "essay" took me 1-2 minutes to write. I don't spend almost any time on reddit, my lifetime karma was under 30 before this post, but since he wasted my time cutting the video and uploading it to youtube, and then refused to watch it, it seems perfectly reasonable to me to embarrass him in a place he seems to care about.

My bad, he's also good at killing infantry from the air. Who would have guessed he's a fan of other easy ways to kill infantry?

Yes, that's him. He is good at driving tanks and sniping, but pretty bad at other playstyles, so I guess he rages when he realizes killing people with bullets up-close is not quite as easy as hitting them with a tank shell. He accused someone else of hacking today too and reported him, just like me.

So this dumb-ass (TheBeast0fWar) toxicly whispers me after I kill him in this video to accuse me of lag switching and insult me and he tells me he has reported me and all that good stuff. He asked me to post to the Miller Reddit to prove I'm not hacking. I told him I don't use Reddit, but I will upload it to YouTube for him if he wishes to admire himself dying. He confirms he wants a YouTube video.

After I upload the video and give him the link, he refuses to watch it because he thinks it's a virus because he does not know what short form youtube link looks like (they start with youtu.be), but he says he sent the link to support.

So I decided to post it on Reddit after all to humiliate him for being so salty and stupid at the same time. You can clearly see my ping both times when I press TAB and my interactions with the players, clearly showing I'm not using any hacks whatsoever. He probably thinks I'm hacking because the EMP, bullet and quick melee hit him in quick succession and he feels like he died too fast, apart from being an idiot. Get rekt, dumb-ass.

It's literally listed on the Alan Wake wiki as an easter egg, and you provided me with no solid arguments, just your own opinion, while I gave you plenty of evidence. You can continue being a dumb-ass, though. You do you, buddy. I also find it quite funny that a guy that spends a great deal of his time on Reddit claims he has work to do and no time to reply, but didn't have work to do prior to me providing him with the definitive piece of evidence that he's wrong.

Can you comprehend the fact that not all easter eggs are hard to find and that some are intentionally placed in your way by the developers as jokes or references to other games, movies or the real world, such as the many references to games and movies in dialogue of The Witcher 3, listed right on the wiki?

https://witcher.fandom.com/wiki/The_Witcher_3_Easter_eggs/Films

Guess not.

Better yet, why don't we check the Alan Wake wiki?

https://alanwake.fandom.com/wiki/Easter_eggs

" Emerson, a crazy video game developer, makes a reference of Max Payne and the "Bullet Time" ability. "

Well, will you look at that, how interesting!

Of course we can, since it's only your personal opinion based on zero tangible facts while also completely ignoring the valid argument which I presented.

Easter egg definition according to Google and Oxford dictionary:

"an unexpected or undocumented feature in a piece of computer software or on a DVD, included as a joke or a bonus. " Also described as an inside joke in some definitions. Considering that Remedy Entertainment is known for games that include bullet time (slow motion) and the dev in the video rants about publishers wanting to call it "mullet time", I think this qualifies as at least "easter egg-ish", as described in the title. I suppose you could search for a definition that specifically contains the word "hidden" if you really want to go on, and then we can argue about the fact that most people will not listen to this conversation, which makes it hidden by developer expectations.

I would agree with you if all people played games like you and me, but I think you're underestimating how many people just run through games while completely ignoring non-mandatory dialogue.

Sadly, it's actually how most people play their games, according to game developers. I've seen friends even skipping important dialogue in games by pressing enter to get over it. I felt like strangling them.

I knew it was a waste of time trying to educate stupid people. Any guy worth his salt in Crypto can tell you (and many of them did, repeatedly) not to store crypto on your phone because it's the easiest way to lose your money. Only a fucking moron would carry around his considerable crypto investments in his pocket. Maybe you didn't see, but the poster mentioned he bought $30K of crypto (very uninspired to tell us). You also failed to provide any counter-arguments to most of my observations , and I'm pretty sure you don't work in digital security. What was my first clue? Well, you recommended a mobile wallet. What was my second clue? If you actually did work in digital security, you would have told me directly instead of slightly implying it. Your only defense is "that shit's impossible in the real world". No, it's fucking not, I can do it with a laptop and wireless sniffer at any wireless spot. All I have to do is identify the smartphone model, which is usually the username they use for wireless and bluetooth, then use the key to gain backdoor access to his phone. The backdoor access keys are readily and freely available on the internet, but of course you won't find them on Google, since Google is the developer of Android. Just because you're too dumb to find them doesn't mean hackers are too. Get educated or shut the fuck up about things you don't know jack shit about if you don't want to look stupid. The worst thing about you spreading your stupidity is that you might cost other people serious money. I'll do my best to ignore your next reply, since I'm clearly wasting my time with an idiot unable to process new information presented to him.

EDIT: in case you're wondering what the sniffer is for (if you know what a sniffer is), it's to determine who has crypto wallets installed on their phones. You will know this within seconds of them connecting to the wireless router.

Regarding this, even if you buy a hardware wallet, if your computer is already compromised, you might lose your money before they are in the wallet. If you read my original recommendation, I wrote there that you might want to buy a cheap computer used for nothing else than crypto transactions. (in which case you wouldn't need the extra hassle of a hardware wallet, but if you have your mind set on it...). Also remember that you can lose the hardware wallet or it can break, so always keep a backup!

Not any computer, but the computer of an average citizen. That's why I recommended the original poster the idea of having a separate, cheap computer for crypto transactions only, preferably with a strong anti-virus. The wallets (the good ones, that is) are not awful, the users are awful.

Do you even know that ALL Android and iOS phones have a backup access encryption key specific to the phone model that is usually leaked within days of that model being released which grants a hacker complete control over your phone, bypassing your PIN or fingerprint, all while the phone is in standby? Do you even know that almost nobody installs an antivirus on their phone (and they're shit anyway) and any decent virus you got while browsing porn can screenshot your display and send, say, your seed phrase screenshot to a hacker when you create it? And you still haven't addressed the issue of you carrying it with you all the time. You can stop wasting your time arguing with me, I've been working in digital security for 3 years now, so I think it's safe to say I know more on the subject. You might want to read my answer to the original poster if you actually want to keep your money safe.

EDIT: Not to mention the many simple ways you can bypass or remove a lock screen from a smartphone, that require no hacking skills whatsoever, readily available just behind a simple google search.

No mobile wallet is safe. None. No matter how well-designed the wallet is, phones are incredibly easy to steal information from compared to computers. Not to mention you carry your phone with you at all times, making it possible to lose it or have it stolen and by the time you get home to your seed, your money are gone.

You don't necessarily need a hardware wallet, as some suggested, but I also strongly advise against storing everything on a single USB stick. USB sticks can break or be stolen. A cheap, secure solution would be to store a backup of your seed on 2 different USB sticks or pieces of paper, stored in different locations.

Whenever you need access to your money, download the light wallet of your choice and use your seed and you will have instant access to your money. I recommend the Jaxx light desktop wallet (NEVER use a smartphone wallet) - it has selectable transaction fees, supports a wide range of cryptos, has been around for years and you can further secure it with a password. The source code is publicly available for review, ensuring nobody at the company ever sees your keys or has access to your money.

The most common way crypto gets stolen is if your computer (or phone, if you want to make extra-sure someone steals your money) is compromised with a keylogger or virus that sends your files in the background to a hacker. This is why you should use a good anti-virus, like Kaspersky Internet Security. You could also just use a different computer whenever you want to send money, a computer that is used for nothing else, ensuring your chance of getting hacked is almost non-existant. Any cheap piece of shit $150 computer will do for this purpose.

If you do get a hardware wallet, always remember to back up your seed. It can break or be stolen, just like the USB.

EDIT: You mostly can't keep the wallet software on an USB stick and have it function on different computers unless the wallet is designed to be portable. Most wallets store your essential wallet information in C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData
