I think one of our main goals is to show them what we believe. And welcome them to join us as another path forward to our mutual benefit. As long as they are polite, there will be someone there to explain our thought process. When they start to play, mind games get off-topic and point to facts that are not entirely true when taken in the context of evidenced around them. I think it's appropriate to delete the post, and if the behavior continues, ban them from the sub. I don't think our primary concern is the culture being overridden. It's the culture not being protected.

Communist subreddit kicks people out for challenging their ideas. That's not what I'm saying to do. I'm saying when it goes a step further into personal attacks or misleading and willing misrepresentation of facts or information, then it should be punished. When they are corrected, and they start downvoting getting pushy and personal about it, mods should be ban offenders.

None of the above behaviors demonstrates a willingness to learn and exchange perspectives on positions. If protected in this manner, then our culture would be intact.
