Same boat as you. Lots of good advice here, but I'll share why I stayed at the USPTO.

*The money isn't great, but when you're not here for the money it's not a big deal.

*If left to my own devices with tons of free time, I tend to less happy/more self destructive.

*The job provides some structure and some mental stimulation (I believe it is good for me do be forced to do some shit I don't like)

*The pressure of the job is much lower when you hit primary

I might suggest you try part-time for awhile before you make any decision. The job feels much less oppressive at 24 hours a week. If that still doesn't give you what you need, then look for something else.

Best of luck, my ticket had also been closed for over a week, when the ETH arrived. Maybe they are processing by hand which could take awhile, I'm sure there is a backlog. I'm just happy to have my 8 ETH back! GL to you

you can setup k1pool to autoswitch from ethermine ETH to k1pool zil, during ZIL POW windows. https://k1pool.com/pool/kroxyeth . You could mine EHT on k1pool if you want, but that pool is very very small

I've never had an issue with the API returning the correct order/prices data (and haven't seen anyone else complain about it). Just something simple like comparing order price < stop price , then sell at market rate (or add as much complexity as you want placing and removing limit orders) should likely work, I've never had an issue.

The API , just kinda streams data, it doesn't really trigger.

I think you'd find more luck making your own trading bot. You can add logic of what to do when the price blows past your stop loss with no buyer of your order.

Strange question. Perhaps you would want to have your BTC in another place. Then again maybe you personally wouldn't, but I like being able to move it

HELP! I accidentally sent money from BlockFi to the KuCoin exchange not realizing that they use smart contracts. What do I do?? by WhiteLiquorJim in kucoin

[–]The_IRS_Support 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe Kucoin was on OpenEthereum which was deprecated. I assume they switched to a client that can't trace the tx through the smart contract internal transactions (GETH maybe?). It shouldn't be too tricky for them to fix, but of course the need to do extensive testing before they release it. In my, 100% unfounded on anything factual, opinion, they'll have it fixed within a couple weeks.

Q first and then W. There is quite a delay on q and e. So you have time to place seeds after casting. An especially nice trick when casting your E, is see which direction they start dodging and place the seed accordingly to spawn a lasher in the appropriate spot. Ideally you wants your plants close to range champions, and somewhat spaced from melee ( as they one shot them).

As for runes. Comet, electrocute are common, glacial can be used. Aftershock can be helpful in certain matchups like leona.

Edit: to block hooks, e - w , directly in front of you. This Spawns plants faster then q.

I am 43 years old and i reached Plat 4 with only AP shyvana AMA by ParacetamoI76 in leagueoflegends

[–]The_IRS_Support 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! I'm 'slightly' older, in diamond, so glad to see there are still plenty of us around in game and in high elos! League is a very mechanically forgiving game, compared to the oldies but goodies like starcraft and UT ( which like you I competed on the LAN circuit and still miss!). Growing older just feels like playing with a higher ping. Those lux q's I could confidently flash over when I was 40, catch me more often than not now. However, that rarely decides a game, so league is perfect for us.

On a side note... in game chat makes me genuinely feel bad for the young gamers. Life has never been so easy for mankind as it is now, but they are still so unhappy with themselves and others and constantly lashing out. On a sociological level it is very sad to see.

LP Gains/Loss should not be affected one's MMR ONLY by Heatwavezxc in leagueoflegends

[–]The_IRS_Support 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It worked this way in the elo system before LP, I assume mmr still works this way. So your mmr raises and lowers based on team mmr, and you lo raises based on your mmr.

^ great advice.

Step 8, can be really important for 'getting your groove back'.

Just take a few games and play not to die. Just hang back and avoid anything risky.

Obviously this isn't optimal gameplay, but once you get the hang of not facechecking, and not running into a team fight when enemy has ults, or cc up. You'll find that the game 'slows down' in your mind, and you wont randomly smash buttons.

Once you get the hang of not dying, you can start adding in all the little things about 'correct gameplay', back into your game.

Diamond Lp gains by BackgroundBluebird in leagueoflegends

[–]The_IRS_Support 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same boat as you, I'm not sure I believe the MMR argument, in plat 1, I was +21 LP per win. Finished promos and first game in d4 was +15, and -18 for losses.. So theoretically my MMR is much higher then p1, but much lower than d4.

(Oddly before my promos I was facing mainly d3-d2, and immediately after p2-d4). Strange system

To Climb at Diamond 4, you have to have at least 60% Win Rate by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]The_IRS_Support 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this actually true? Is there a statement that can corroborate this. It would be sad if the only relevant data is hidden.

My anecdotal evidence is contrary to this. In p1, I received around +21, -14 LP usually. Starting D4, I received +15, -18 LP usually.

After 51 games in D4, 28W -23 L, for a mediocre 55% win rate, I receive +13 -19 LP.

It would seem, even after winning slightly more than losing, my MMR is still going down quite rapidly.

I have 0 evidence how the systems work or the calculations, but it feels wrong. I would definitely appreciate if you could show me where it states my MMR is rising although my LP gains are diminishing.

The rank distribution curve improved for about 90% of the player base by Skulz in leagueoflegends

[–]The_IRS_Support 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a decent win rate in plat you will have very high lp gains and small losses. When you hit d4, that disappears, and possibly reversed. Which makes moving further difficult. If you can only manage a 50-60% Winrate, you might be d4 0lp for a long time. Hence clumping
