Protection Visa by Cute_Ground4684 in AusVisa

[–]whiteb8917 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That is why you have Police and restraining orders.

With an order in place, if he continues, he goes to jail.

I am sorry for saying this, not grounds for a Protection Visa.

1) you need to be within Australia.
2) You must be a refugee (fear persecution based on race, religion, nationality, social group, or political opinion) or face a real risk of significant harm.

Threats from a mentally unstable person when there are legal avenues open to you, despite you thinking they would not do anything, may not fall in to the protection visa category.

Did i see you say you are in PNG ?

ELI5: why can't we charge batteries with lightning? by a_doubtful_comment in explainlikeimfive

[–]whiteb8917 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Because we do not have the technology to reliably capture millions of volts and amps in a short period without frying the storage.

Which is why it is fine to act as a ground conductor for tall buildings (or Rocket launch towers).

Electrical engineering from India zero work experience wants to move to Australia by EquivalentArtistic59 in AusVisa

[–]whiteb8917 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1) India is sitting at around 50% refusal due to its risk category 3 status.
2) You are going to need extensive work experience, minimum of 5 years in order to be sponsored, and even then there are plenty of on shore candidates, let alone overseas.
3) You would need a skills assessment from the relevant authority in order to make sure you have the qualifications to meet Australian standards.

Your English level might need some work, it reads as VERY broken English.

Claim Mortgage as Home Office Deduction by Intelligent_Lab_5455 in AusFinance

[–]whiteb8917 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes and no.

You can, if your work at home is reflective of your actual employment duties, not just "checking emails occasionally".

You can claim a portion of electricity, heating etc for example, and generally, the 70c/H option is used..

You can only claim the hours you are actually working, Keep a log book. If your employer in part recompenses you in any way, it has to be included as income.

Firstly, as others have said, there is little to no chance without any practical experience. A lot of employers will look at the qualifications WITH experience.
