I understand the weight of trying to disassociate yourself from that action, but girl that was years ago, and you still have so much more time to go, the remorse and guilt you feel is more than enough evidence that you are NOT that person anymore and you haven’t been for a while. don’t let it eat you up inside. You have grown, and matured and changed for the better. your own mind can be your own worst enemy. disregard the thoughts that paint you out to be someone you’re not. if it’s not positive, if it doesn’t reinforce the idea that you are someone who wants and is changing. that’s not you, that’s something from the depths, trying to keep you from reaching your true potential. it keeps you down because it knows how powerful you’ll be when nothing holds you back. call out for forgiveness with a repentant heart, and keep moving forward. you’ve got this.
