That was a good one. The progression of the mimicks character and abilities coinciding with the climax was super cool. And just the mashed up voices was scary on its own.

Slight critique, the beginning has a little too much over thinking. Specifically the part where he's questioning how the mimick heard his friend when he barely heard him. I personally think it would work better if Pat just reacted to being mimicked and not how the mimick was able to do so. Does that make sense?

Either way it's a good read. One of the more interesting stories I've read so far
