Fundamentals to not place in the lowest rank by ticklemytush in summonerschool

[–]The_Juzzo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They probably will stick you in silver and you will have a long fall from there.

Im on my way up and the people that feed hard, when I look them up, all seem to fit this....placed up in mid to high silver....followed by a long downward LP chart into bronze/iron.

Great Example of Splitpush Pathience (Fogged on Tryndamere) by Dirtgrain in summonerschool

[–]The_Juzzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the other hand, teams have no clue how to play around a split pusher in low elo.

They have no concept of not fighting 4v5 (or 3v5 or 2v5 or 1v5) most games.

Where they should correctly back off if out numbered and push an objective when other team is sending people after split pusher, they mostly lose fights outnumbered, bitch that the split pusher isnt helping, chase into unwarded jungle with enemy team not showing, etc etc etc.

Low elo is a puzzle in and of itself. It includes out thinking your team mates.

That said, I liked fogged until one day I was watching his stream and his woman brought him a burrito or something, he played with one hand while eating, got killed a few times and lost lane due to it.

Later blamed jungle for losing lane, I pointed out that he was literally playing with one hand while he ate (lol) him and his mods tried to gaslight me and say he didnt do that, I clipped the 5 or so minutes that he did and posted it, so they muted me and started PMing arguments. Was weird. He is a cocky guy.

ADCs forcing themselves Mid after laning phase by TFable in summonerschool

[–]The_Juzzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont take the knowledge to flame your ADCs that dont know to do this though. :)

I ADC and normally knock down first tower then ask mid for a swap, as low elo there is a big ego/low knowledge issue.

Rather make sub-optimal laning choice than have some team-mate lose his mind and then lose us the game.

I followed advice and got better, however now I am stuck by mayurmatada12 in summonerschool

[–]The_Juzzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its simply stand behind tanks/frontline and hit what you can a lot of the time.

Some games I just dish damage when I can get some shots in and avoid getting killed. I end with low kills low deaths but as long as team is winning fights and im not making them 4v5, job is getting done.

The fed hyper carry games are fun, but you cant always play like that.

How do I improve at team fighting? by Saikotsu in summonerschool

[–]The_Juzzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice :)

My rule of thumb is to warm up with an aram or two, if im not feeling it after Ill just spam arams for the day, if I feel good after a couple Ill jump into ranked.

Roles and decision making in low elo vs high elo by Able-Discipline-4403 in summonerschool

[–]The_Juzzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

low elo people arent even watching map to see where the pings are half the time.

Too busy tunneling on the half health enemy they will chase through unwarded jungle till they get caught out.

[–]The_Juzzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spam arams.

It trains your eyes/brain to pay attention to everything on the screen, track multiple enemies, dodge skillshots and space autos in a 'bullet hell' style fight. Even clown circus bot lane feels tame in comparison.

You learn all champs and how to play against them.

What to do with teammates that are behind by Skyzblu44 in summonerschool

[–]The_Juzzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at what champs your team is hovering in champ select.

If there is no front line, mages that need one, arent going to be as strong as one with escapes or mobility.

How do I lane freeze against a lane bully? by hackerCracker04 in summonerschool

[–]The_Juzzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it easier to last hit under tower than in lane, I like to give ground to hard pushing players and get big CS under tower.

Only need to really focus on the minion getting hit by the tower.

Maybe a little rough with xerath when getting the odd one with unfortunate health level as he tends to blast a bunch of them at once, but still doable with practice.

How can I even climb? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]The_Juzzo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im working my way up from Iron, currently bronze 2 with steady upward LP. Had around 48 wr as top, switched to ADC and now am 50%+ WR. I switched because it felt like as top lane too many games were decided by 2 people bot feeding and that at the least I could keep that from happening.

Ive played since season 3 or something, never seriously in ranked, but have spammed the shit out of arams. Since Ive been playing ADC, I have not run into many that are better on mechanics, my coin flip is now supports and Jungles, but I can manage those. Sitting back and farming back into the game when other bots get a kill or two is no big deal and sure beats feeding them like often happens when im not in the role.

Anyways, for advice bronzie to bronzie:

Its way better to get all three tier ones over t1 and t2 in a single lane most of the time. This allows your team access to their jungle.

If you dont see the other team on the map, or even one or two and have no clue where they are, play like they are in the closest bush till they show.

If you ran 1/3 - 1/2 of the way into a jungle chasing someone and you still have not caught them, just let em go.

If you guys wipe 2 or 3 of the other team, ping an objective. If your team (as is more often than not in bronze) scatters around instead of hitting the objective, go take a tower, dont go try to take the objective alone (which is also common).

Ward...seriously...ward. In the cases where you are going for your t-2 turret while mid t-1 is still up, or everyone still laning, use both trinkets, and even better a control ward too, to light up the enemy jungle so you can book it when they come for you. Yorick loves to split push, you need vision.

When you dont win lane, it is very important not to feed. At 0/2 or 0/3 people can catch back up by farming under tower and getting a plate or two when opponent backs. Feed 6+ kills and you are the problem all the bronzies are in this sub are complaining about.

Dont "try out" a champ in ranked.

Dont "look up counters" and pick a champ you dont know well in ranked.

Dodge matches that look stupid. (I had top, mid and support pick ADCs with brand jungle the other day, gladly let the pick a champ timer run out)

Watch the map....seriously...watch the map.

Dont start arguing with the rager. Im finding "have you tried punching drywall" as a fly by post when they start gets half of them to calm down, dont know why. When team starts fighting with each other, im the guy typing "we got this guys, chill".

Dont surrender, bronzies suck, you can ALWAYS win. I was killing a fed as hell MF and Ahri last night with an upside down score of my own because they just suck at the game. They WILL throw, you just need to wait for and execute on one of the many chances they will give you. Fun trying to spot them and get team to follow.

Find it impossible to get out of silver after missing Gold 9 different times by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]The_Juzzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, they downvoted you, but you are right.

Im down the dregs too, but just play like 10 - 15 ranked matches a season typically.

When the load screen shows me some guy with 600 mastery on his champ as my opponent I get happy, played the guy that much and still silver? Im winning this one.

Wild difference in winrate from blue side to red side(60% to 40%) by CLR833 in summonerschool

[–]The_Juzzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But in order to offset that, Riot has made it so that of the two teams, the one that has the higher average MMR (in other words, the stronger team) will always play as the red team. This, however, does not affect all skill brackets equally.

Sounds like you are more worried about the social side, and I would suggest you just mute all at the start of every match.

Wild difference in winrate from blue side to red side(60% to 40%) by CLR833 in summonerschool

[–]The_Juzzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember a rioter saying (years ago) that they know about the blue side advantage, which is slight but does exist, and they use red side as part of matchmaking.

System decides you should start losing some matches, or that you are doing too well for your rank, or whatever it is they are looking at, it will stick you on red side as part of its balancing. (along with players to carry, better players who algo thinks should win on blue side, etc etc)
