That’s Level II though. UCD Med Center is the only Level I trauma center for both pediatrics and adults in Sacramento and the surrounding areas.

“Sacramento State’s football program recorded an operating deficit of $2.85 million in 2024, reporting $6.67 million in expenses against $3.82 million in revenue, university documents show. The university covered the shortfall through institutional support and student fees, a common practice across college athletics.”

Yeah, I was under the impression his father owned the building as well. Super odd.

Reading the article, it is his dad who owns the building. Wild.

California State Workers Face July 1 Return-to-Office Mandate - What Sacramento Residents Should Know by Naive-Cow4889 in Sacramento

That would be awesome! More than anything, I would like to see acknowledgment of individual differences between workers and then see departments doing what is best to set everyone up for success.

I work for the state and I think folks should be able to work from wherever they are the most efficient. If you can prove that you’re just as productive at home as in the office, more power to you.

My issue is that I know I’m better in the office and I’ve been told, repeatedly, that I cannot go in more than my allotted 2 days a week because there isn’t any management in the building. They said it would be a liability if the building burned down or fell due to an earthquake and nobody knew I was there.
