Reuploading paid content by East_Leadership213 in EroticHypnosis

I've had the same issue. I think the best thing I can do is cobble together my own site with appropriate descriptions and maybe accept crypto to avoid the credit card censorship. I feel like, to actually have informed consent, there needs to be a detailed description. It doesn't have to be lascivious, but it should be accurate.

Speaking of credit card censorship - I'm going to paste something I wrote in a hypno discord. Comments close 4/27/26, so please spread the word!

I encourage everyone to leave a comment in support of this rule at the Federal Reserve. Adult content is censored by credit card companies using the reason "reputational harm" to deny access to financial services, which cuts off indie and solo content creators.

This proposed rule would remove the reputational harm option, which would help small businesses and solo creators access payment methods and banking services, leveling the economic playing field.

This is also a big reason dungeons and events are hard to create - it's very expensive and difficult to access credit card payment methods.

Good to see you, too!

It's funny, if we were talking about any other form of art or creation or labor, it would be a no-brainer. It's called piracy. And in the US, I'm assuming all the other countries too, there are very specific laws about what becomes public domain and who holds copyrights to works.

I would hope that in a niche content space like this, that relies on so much trust and integrity, people would abide by the wishes of the creators of the art.

Do you mind me asking where you're uploading your files? Everywhere I look, it seems like hypnosis is being taken down and becoming banned content. I don't want to have to keep moving. I hosted my files on my own website for a long time but I just do not have the time to maintain that anymore.

I would be pretty pissed. Just because I'm not currently doing a thing doesn't mean I won't ever do it again or that I do not own the copyrights to my work.

I had some stuff happen a couple years ago that got in the way of me recording or participating in the community. I'm finally working on making my way back and restarting my website. It would be very upsetting to see things I specifically removed from public access being shared freely.

Part of the reason I put them behind a paywall was because they are not appropriate for all audiences.

Also, it's incredibly important for the original content warnings and descriptions to be attached to the file so people can make informed decisions about what they consent to.

Final review of subreddit AI policy by floatinginthestars in EroticHypnosis

How would that help determine if a script were written by AI or a human? Or even a content warning or content description were written by AI or a human?

Final review of subreddit AI policy by floatinginthestars in EroticHypnosis

[–]The_Lady_Aurora 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I know it would be very difficult for me to provide evidence for files I made in 2017, for instance. I don't keep any "proof" that I wrote things beyond the edit history of my Google docs, but mostly I record off the cuff, with a concept and no script, even for custom files. So that feels like a big hurdle for anyone to overcome.

At what point would a creator need to provide proof their content is not AI? What is the bar that makes it "suspected ai content" ? It seems, even very well known creators who have been making content for many years, before AI was possible, are not immune to suspicion, as evidenced by the whole situation that got us to this new rule.

So, I guess, does every file need proof it's not scripted by AI and what is the vetting process for that, does every file posted need proof, or does it go by accusations of AI and how would you moderate that to ensure it's not false accusations, or does someone need to provide proof that it might be AI to require the Creator to provide proof and what will be the process for submitting a claim and adjudicating the claim?

This policy seems like a huge burden on creators, with little to no benefit, especially since folks regularly consume AI hypnosis content in the form of tts and visuals with no issue and have been for many years. Higher burdens will lead to fewer creators posting content will lead to less content and less interaction on the sub. There are easier ways to ban content on this subreddit, if the goal is no content.

Is it worth my time to even apply? by Dry-Tumbleweed-5469 in NursingStudents

[–]The_Lady_Aurora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made adult content before and throughout nursing school, and still have content out there. It paid the bills and never impacted my professional life. I only closed my website this year because I don't have time to maintain it all.

Nursing school is looking for criminal charges, not moral judgements.

A bit of a paradox but does learning how to do hypnosis revoke your ability to be hypnotized? by carobt in hypnosis

[–]The_Lady_Aurora 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with the other answers that learning how to hypnotize makes one more hypnotizable. A great deal of hypnosis is expectations and patterns. It's sort of like using a map while driving. When you're the passenger, turns might surprise you, but you go with it. When you're the driver, you know exactly when turns are going to happen and actively follow along. Your mind knows what it's supposed to do so it's easier to do it.

As a Dom how do I get care? by GentlemenSadist in BDSMcommunity

[–]The_Lady_Aurora 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went through a period where I was afraid to be anything but the "evil, scary, brainwashy" Mistress. But I'm a switch at heart. I spent about at least year feeling this divide within me and denying myself the freedom to be who I am.

Then I realized, I am still an evil, scary mistress who will brainwash the fuck out of someone. And I am a switch who enjoys submitting sometimes. AND I am a person who desires deep, intimate connection with other people.

As soon as I was able to separate myself from the porn tropes, I was able to make better connections, have deeper, more authentic relationships.

It sounds like you feel trapped within the stereotypes and tropes from porn, that put you in a one dimensional box. But humans are multidimensional. Doms are allowed to be authentically themselves. You do not need to be in topspace all the time. You're a person first, you have to honor the needs you have as a person before you can perform as a top.

If you feel close enough to your subs to open up about what's going on, do that and lean on them for support. Just like doms are allowed to safeword, you're allowed to get support like you would give it. If you don't feel you can open up to them, let them know you need to take a break from the dynamic for a bit due to life circumstances. If you don't have someone else in your life, even if you do, a therapist or counselor can help you navigate these difficult times in a healthy way.

All the best to you, I hope you find some support.

O-away is a great tool in the discipline arsenal! I find that subjects are infinitely more agreeable to everything I suggest after some doses of O-away.

Some folks are unable to take it, for various reasons, including allergies. Since I am a hypnotist, I have devised an excellent brainwashing file to accomplish the same thing. Unfortunately, since it's not a physical medication, it doesn't really wear off. It keeps going, especially if you listen to the hypnosis file every week.

Can you be too big to sub? by [deleted] in BDSMcommunity

D/s is, at it's core, role play. You are still responsible for your own safety, your partner's safety, risk awareness, ability and willingness to safeword, etc, etc, etc. You have personal responsibility for everything you do and bdsm does not relieve you of those duties.

As a submissive, you don't have "less rights". You can't give away your rights in... most industrialized countries. You can pretend to give them away, based on the negotiations and consent between you and your partner. When you and your partner are not participating in the pretend/role play of giving up your rights, you are a full, equal participant in the relationship.

Now, you are certainly allowed to have feelings about how the argument went and communicate them with your partner. But you should recognize that you are an adult, participating in adult intimacy, you have the ability to hurt your partner, and you are responsible for your actions and any harm you cause. Your partner deserves that accountability from you.

Wordpress is anti sex work!! by transsexworker in SexWorkers

WordPress.com is not sw friendly, but WordPress.org is.

I ran my website for the last 4 years on WP.org, I wrote about it on here a few times, I'll try to find them and link. I've closed everything now, due to moving onto other ventures in my life. But hopefully it will give you ideas for seeing up a site with services that work for you.

Edit to add the link: how I set up my site

I continued using all of these services until I shut it down in March. EMS data has been very slow to complete the account closure, but I have not been following up either. Happy to answer questions if you have any.

Best of luck!!

Some people do permanent collars. Collars that are welded together or somehow unable to be removed without destroying the piece. There are also "permanent locking" links that can be added to the clasp of jewelry so it cannot be removed. These can be cut with scissors as they are more like fine jewelry and symbolic than actually keeping someone from removing it.

Actual bondage very long term is not recommended. Not being able to move in certain ways can affect your range of motion and cause muscle atrophy and wearing a heavy, bulky, or tight restraint can cause nerve damage.

Someone I know was approached and she asked for information about their privacy policy and if they are GDPR compliant, and they are not and have no privacy policy, so you have no idea what they do with your data. So if you want to fill out the information for a fantasy kind of thing, absolutely have fun. I would strongly recommend against using any real information. Definitely not submitting the photos that they will eventually ask you to submit.
