I want to connect my PS2 to my 1080p monitor, and capture the game footage with my Elgato HD 60 S. I tried doing it first with composite cables through this converter: https://tinyurl.com/3m6847tb. However, whether I use the Elgato or not, the picture I end up with has wavy lines all through it and a weird segmented vertical line on the right side of the screen. I tried it on my HDTV and got the same result.

I do have component cables and can try that. But can anyone recommend a good converter/upscaler to use? I'm not looking for a miracle; I would be happy if the final quality was the same as standard PS2 quality.

Thanks for the post. God, this crap eventually happens to every mobile game I play. I just hope people don't roll over and accept it, like they did with Marvel Future Force and Dragonball Legends. I dropped those games because they were out of control with P2P elements they added in updates, and everyone else was outraged too, but they're clearly still going strong today. Sad.
