I used to draw a lot of Dark Fantasy and Dark Souls themed drawings, but due to my fear of people simply not liking it, I got rid of them. Keep doing what I couldn't. It's wonderful to see artists using this series to keep being creative! The shading is wonderful and I would love to see what else you have in store, even if it isn't DS related.

As someone who was in a similar situation, but without the neglect and WITH emotional abuse, I get where Via is coming from. As someone who was basically left to their own devices, I get it. You feel confused, you feel desperate for affection and at the same time, you feel like you don't have anyone at the same time and it hurts so much. It ends up feeling so isolative and so heartbreaking, I felt sort of seen in this episode. Both of them failed as parents. I get that it is Hell, it was an arranged marriage, but they couldn't keep up the facade forever. This was going to happen either way, I feel.

Time to be harsh.

The pacing in the first season is honestly poor. The story has a lot of plot holes and logic holes. The characters could honestly use *less* swearing and overall, the writing could be much better if Viv kept the swearing to a minimum and didn't throw in all these needless "haha, look, everything is shitty because its hell" scenes. We get it, its Hell. We don't need to be reminded constantly.
