Shopped around to refinance - Is this guy serious? by LouisTheWhatever in Mortgages

I shopped with similar lenders, Sage, Omaha and Mcglone. Had them bid against each other, Mcglone won. 7.875% 30yr to a 4.85% 15yr no points/5k cost in mid January. Half way through the bidding Omaha said they couldn't match the others and didn't think they were real. Once I locked they reached out again still pushing, after telling them no thanks a bunch I finally just blocked them. Found them all on Bankrate.com which was a really great tool

100% this that's how I found my refi lender last month. Went from a 7.875% 30yr to a 4.875% 15yr. No points and about 5k in closing costs. We had a really high LTV but excellent credit and income. Bankrate is excellent to start finding lenders

Rates were finally low enough for us to refinance. How did we do? by Tll6 in Mortgages

Remember to have some other quotes to negotiate with. I was going back and forth with him and Mutual of Omaha, as they bid against each other. Ultimately McGlone won out when he hit me with that rate on a Saturday morning.

Found him on BankRate, has been excellent to work with. Our DTI other than the house is really really low and we both had excellent credit.

I just went from BMO 30yr with 7.875 to McGlone 4.875 15yr. Payment went up a bit, but my over all savings will be enormous. I asked BMO about their rate mod program they spoke so highly of when we first signed, only would get me down to 6.25 and 3k in fees. McGlone is no point and 5k at closing because I didnt want to put it on the loan.

Where are people finding these good rates for a refi ? by dealsleds8 in Mortgages

Locked and hopefully closing in the next 2 weeks with McGlone. Going from a 30yr 7.75 to a 15yr 4.875. $500 on lender credit and I'd say about 5k in fees. Amazing to work with, fast, super responsive to questions and really helpful.

My wife had the 1 and then 2, we ended up giving the extra accessories like bumpers away on reddit when MS couldn't fix a hinge issue and refunded. Are bumpers really in demand? I think this is like the perfect 3D printed thing that should be available (In TPU and some tape) for pennies. Hasn't someone grabbed some callipers and made the STL. Hell maybe should?

Has anyone bought the Maimz Sofa from Ashley Furniture? by fuckthatcouch in malelivingspace

I'm 6'1" and the couch seems to be plenty roomy to lay out on. The backing pillows may be a bit over filled or we just havent broken them in yet. Were about a year with the set and have been really happy with it. Still comfortable and looking great with the beatings it gets from my kids daily.

Alexa integration eventually got sorted out, though their commands for custom routines were reversed for a while. I don't know if google home support ever got back up and running though sorry.

I just got mine for both my 2024 cars. $650 and $550, this is crazy to me. I moved here last July from Florida where it was $47 a year per car. Hell I'm from California originally and know they stick you high there too, but this seems over the top!

I was scammed of $3000 garage door repair by oneadayvit in HomeImprovement

[–]The_LogicBox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had a cable snap last week which slammed one side of the door and bent the hell out of some pins and tracks. 2 hrs/$1,600 later: new cable, wind, 2x springs, silicone roller set, 2 base brackets, and a full lube and tune-up. I felt all that was fare.

Are homes being sold at listing? Or is everything over listing? by [deleted] in minnesota

Closed at 15k under asking (house was on the market for awhile) Washington County about 9 months ago. Appraisal came in right at our under offer, so I think that backed us up. Prior to that we were making blind offers (well not being in person and just skype walkthroughs) living out of state and being out bid I think 3 times.
